Everyone one there is so wonderful and friendly. Even family like!!! They have my best interests in mind and giving me the service I deserve! Purchasing a second car from Connie was just as pleasant as family like!!! They have my best interests in mind and giving me the service I deserve! Purchasing a second car from Connie was just as pleasant as the first experience. She is so knowledgeable and shoots it to me straight. Mike Anderson really took the time to explain some financial aspects that I wasn't completely aware of. Felton really helped me with finalizing everything so I could get on my way. I am a RUSTY WALLIS HONDA customer for life!!! More
One of the best dealerships experiences so far. Everyone that my family and I met with, from the salesman to the finance manager, was very friendly and professional. The sales manager did not make us feel v that my family and I met with, from the salesman to the finance manager, was very friendly and professional. The sales manager did not make us feel very pressured and was not pushy like most sales managers. He was willing to work with us to get what we wanted for a reasonable price. I would come back to this dealership for any future Honda purchases. More

The customer service at Rusty Wallis Honda was great...right up until we drove away with our new car and they had their sale. That's when it stops, folks. Thanks, and don't let the door hit you on great...right up until we drove away with our new car and they had their sale. That's when it stops, folks. Thanks, and don't let the door hit you on the way out! We made eminently clear that we had (a) driven 500 miles overnight and were tired because (b) we are in the military and were in the Dallas area to visit family and (c) had a mailing address in Missouri where the Army has us stationed and all correspondence needed to go there. They promptly paid lip service to our military service, got their contract and washed their hands of us. As the temp tags were nearing their expiration date, I called the dealer and asked them where my license plates were... they'd mailed them to Garland. After spending over five hours at the dealership telling them over and over again that everything needed to go to Missouri, they sent them to Garland. My mother-in-law eventually had to pay to have the plates overnighted to us. I never did receive any other follow-up information or care from the dealer except a friendly give-us-more-of-your-money-because-we haven't-bled-you-dry call; namely, wouldn't we like to get our car serviced there? Um, no. The car is in MISSOURI. Don't let these idiots get their hands on your money. Drive out of your way if you have to (and certainly don't go there if you're military...they'll fleece you the way they did us). More
My sister-in-law has bought two vehicles from Rusty Wallis Honda and she has had nothing but good things to say about the dealership. A couple of months ago, I test drove the CR-V and it was then I dec Wallis Honda and she has had nothing but good things to say about the dealership. A couple of months ago, I test drove the CR-V and it was then I decided that when I was ready to purchase a new vehicle, that was the one that I wanted. Last Friday, I got on the Internet and was fortunate enough get connected with Brandon. Brandon was great to work with . . . professional, but also a great conversationalist. When it came to time to deal with the money part of the deal, Chris did an excellent job of explaining all the financial aspects of my purchase with all sorts of visual aids. I'm a retired educator, so I appreciate the fact that people have different learning styles. Presenting data both visually and auditorily is a smart idea. I had spoken with Mike on my first visit to RWH and he made me feel welcomed all over again. Joe T. in service assured me that he and his team would take good care of my "new baby" and I believe that he's sincere! All in all it was great experience in purchasing a new vehicle. I will be recommending this dealership to my friends and family. More
Jeff was extremely professional and honest as we communicated primarily through email to find the pre-owned vehicle I was looking for at the price I was willing to pay. I visited the dealer to have communicated primarily through email to find the pre-owned vehicle I was looking for at the price I was willing to pay. I visited the dealer to have the vehicle delivered and worked with Nikki and Jason both of which made the transaction a pleasure to go through. For us consumers, the most important question to ask is whether you would recommend the Dealer, in this case Rusty Wallis Honda, to family and friends. In my experience with Rusty Wallis, I can say without a doubt, YES! More
I was recommended to try this dealership from Jerry Reynolds (The Car Guy Show - 820AM on Sat mornings. I got on the internet and did some homework on the cars availiable. I went to the dealership and Reynolds (The Car Guy Show - 820AM on Sat mornings. I got on the internet and did some homework on the cars availiable. I went to the dealership and first meet with Brandon as Derrick Turner was with another customer I was told. Brandon made an error while we were doing the pricing of the car. He priced the LS instead of the EX. This was not an experience that I was expecting since the price qoute was one in which I thought was very reasonable. Two weeks prior I had gone to a Honda dealership and was offered a Honda Civis LX with the equiptment I wanted. At that time I wanted to give Rusty Wallis Honda a shot since: #1 I've bought a Honda there before in 2007. #2 Jerry Reynolds gave me the reference to go see a particular person at Rusty Wallis. That person was not availiable however Derek Turner took over and things went better from then on. Seems I missed out on some Honda dealer sales incentives in that two weeks prior so I was told anyway. I believe this cost me some $$ so I suggest if your going to the dealers do it on the same day so as you can compare what Honda incentives are going on that particular point in time. Theyt seem to come anf go quickly these days. The Financing Manager Chris McIntosh was very professional and explained all the warranty options to me. I did have to ask him to run the numbers to see if the 2.9% advertised fincane rate would be more benificial to me than the Honda Incentive pricing which it was. More
My deceision was made before I came to Honda. I don't have much time. I work on a very tight schedule. Honda or Toyota were the choice I had made. Neil was very good. The first day was ju have much time. I work on a very tight schedule. Honda or Toyota were the choice I had made. Neil was very good. The first day was just as I had hoped. When I drove away I thought we were finished. No one had said anything about returning. However, after about 10 days I was asked to return and sign a different contract because the bank didn't like the way the numbers were placed. I live in Terrell making this about a 25 mile (one way) trip. I didn't like the idea of not showing negative equity for what it was so I was cautious to resign. In the meantime my daughter became ill causing the trip in to be all the more pressing. I did convey this. All I kept asking is that someone meet me halfway or somewhere to make the transition go smoother. That was not possible. As it turned out I went to sign the papers after being pressed to do so; my payment for the trade in was paid after the due date of the contract; and no compensation was made for my 50 mile trip out of the way made when I was sick. Other than that my experience at Rusty Wallis was OK. I can give only a mediocre recommendation to others as far as the overall dealership goes. More
Most definitely do recommend rusty wallis already on new sales and service. Larry was very courteous, friendly and helpful in assisting me with my airbag recall. I was having a problem with the lumbar lat sales and service. Larry was very courteous, friendly and helpful in assisting me with my airbag recall. I was having a problem with the lumbar latch and moving the back of my seat forward on the driver side due to an accident a few years back. I have a bad back and this defect does not help it. He requested the shop technician look at it and Larry and he helped me understand what would need to be done and different options available, plus Larry got the latch to work that day. More
When I finally decided on my car of choice (2009 Honda Civic EX w/NAV in September 2009), I had done a substantial amount of research to find out what the best deal was on price, etc. (Consumer Reports i Civic EX w/NAV in September 2009), I had done a substantial amount of research to find out what the best deal was on price, etc. (Consumer Reports individual car reports at $14 are awesome). I searched the entire state of Texas and got some competitive price quotes in Houston (where I live) and surrounding areas, but they were still not ideal. I called up Rusty Wallis in Dallas and my initial salesperson, Eric Lucy, was great. He offered me a great deal, gave me all the details, explained things, and gave me a pre-approval for financing. Much of this was over email (my preference). I wanted to make sure I got everything squared away before making the drive to Dallas! When we pulled up to the dealership, Eric introduced me to Derrick Turner, who was great. After the test drive, Derrick helped me set up the vehicle and was very detailed about all the vehicles functions. To my surprise, Eric has not informed Derrick of the deal that we had discussed over email, so we had to back up a bit, but this confusion was fairly brief. The only other concern I had in the process was the trade-in....they severely undercut the value of my old Honda Civic (a normal dealer tactic), but I came prepared with information (KBB and Navaguides helped tremendously), so in the end I got what I wanted for trade-in, with some sales manager haggling and blinking contests, of course. Overall, they were very fair and willing to work with me, and I was really pleased. Something to keep in mind was that I bought a car that they were very eager to sell - it had been on the lot for 285 days. Your ability to negotiate price will definitely depend on the supply and demand for the vehicle, as always. Felton Jones helped with financing. Of course, he offered me the extended warranty, which I did not take. He was not pushy about this at all, and was very helpful and entertaining. Overall, I loved going to Rusty Wallis - I felt that the dealer was very fair and professional. I got the deal that I wanted, down to the penny, and I am loving my new Civic! My suggestion for working with this dealer, just like any other, is to do your homework. If you come prepared with research and information, they will work with you. If I hadn't, they would have been happy to sell me the car for $2-3000 more than I paid for it and give me $700 less than I actually got for my trade in. But this is just part of the business of cars - you need to be an informed consumer. I recommend Rusty Wallis Honda! More
