engine lights, dangling horns and bad wires I bought a jeep Cherokee limited three weeks ago, with 10,800 miles, still under warranty, for what felt like a bunch of money. On the way home (6 miles), the check engine light came on, so I took it back the next morning and they reset the light and told me it was from impacted snow from plowing the parking lot. On the way back home the engine light came back on. So back I went and I sat and sat for over four hours. They told me it was a wiring harness and that they had to order another one and that they had taped it up and would call when they could get me back in. So I got the call and picked up my loaner (which did not have four wheel drive and could not get out of our driveway) and they had it ready for me the next day. After my husband got the loaner up the icy hill, they gave me back my car. They had not replaced the wiring, but merely recrimped it. Then, as I am driving with it, I start noticing a disturbingly loud clunking sound coming from the hood. So I ask my husband to look that weekend, and it turns out they had forgotten to put the horn back into position and it was hanging by its wires, clunking against the radiator. He replaced it, but said some of the clamps were missing. So I called the service department only to be informed that they are closed on Saturdays. So Monday (today) I called and asked to speak to a manager and had to leave a message. He has not yet returned my call. I decided to give him a little time and a chance to call back before leaving this review, but there you have it. My Ryan experience. Not so good. Really, I like the car. And I liked the salesperson and I liked the repair manager, who took some time to explain it all and seemed to understand that it is upsetting to get a new car and have this happen. And I even liked their money guy. And to be fair, some of these things are not exactly their fault-- the wiring thing may even have been a factory issue, for example-- but it does look to me like they had turned the check engine light off and were hoping it would not come back on (the thing could only go a few miles before it came on again) and they did not do the repair they explained they would and they did leave the horn flopping around under the hood. And the manager did not call me back. So. Now I am left with a newish car that already has me nervous and a bad feeling about my experience all around. I will not be getting any more service there and I will never buy another car from them. If only that manager had called me back. They should make sure every used car they sell is in tip top condition. More

Jeep Service Department is incompetent I am just finishing servicing my car at Walser Jeep and also got my antenna replaced for $40. I bought my car at Ryan Automall where I had a great experience with buying the vehicle but their service department is incompetent. I was quoted by Ryan Jeep service department that it would cost $535 to replace my entire Antenna package. Obviously, it did not and in my opinion ,they were lazy and just trying to take advantage. I am pretty sure you can imagine what gender I am. It goes without saying I will never be back. More

We had been looking for a specific vehicle for several months and finally found one online that we liked at Ryan Auto Mall. I called and talked to Steve about it, just to make sure it had all the options months and finally found one online that we liked at Ryan Auto Mall. I called and talked to Steve about it, just to make sure it had all the options we needed. He immediately sent me the build sheet on the vehicle. We live four hours away, so going to see it would be an issue, especially with the nasty winter weather. We did get there about a week and a half later, and my husband liked the vehicle even more in person. Everything went smoothly and quickly, and he was home with "Big Blue" twelve hours after he left home in the morning. In spite of not getting what we were expecting for our trade, it was overall a good experience. More
