There are plenty of places that you can buy a car or truck in our local area. However, one dealership stands out from the masses by providing excellent customer service, a wide and diverse vehicle inven truck in our local area. However, one dealership stands out from the masses by providing excellent customer service, a wide and diverse vehicle inventory, a caring and friendly staff, a service department that is valuable to the community that it is open till Midnight, and an inventory manager that obviously knows the best vehicle packages to order from the manufacturer - this is Rydell GM Auto Center in Grand Forks, North Dakota. In 2001, after living overseas for many years, I came to Rydell's to purchase my first vehicle from them. Over the years I've purchase new and used vehicle there and referred all of my friends there. As the current and past owner of three Chevrolet Impala's - all purchased at Rydells! - I cannot imagine shopping anywhere else. The no haggle pricing was foremost in my mind when I went shopping for my first Rydell vehicle. Thinking that the best price really wasn't the "best price" I shopped around but I learned quickly that these folks at Rydell's don't kid around when it comes to moving volume inventory. Their "Best Price" is really the best price you can get on any of their new and pre-owned vehicles. My salesman - who has become a friend to our family - Bob Kvasager always anticipates our family's vehicle needs and takes the time to keep us apprised as to the latest trends and special offers from GM. You always hear from the financial "experts" that you should not finance at your dealership. Well, the finance expertise of Greg Wicken, Tom Aubol, Gaylen Salberg, and Al Berry have all helped me get the best finance and lease rates available. I shop my local bank everytime I'm buying a new vehicle but Rydell's fiance team always gets me a better rate. Finally, when you're looking for something special or just need vehicle advice on option packages and/or how to build the best vehicle for your buck, there's one name to call Kelly Foerester. My last two Impala's were special ordered from the factory. Even though Kelly is a very busy man (you should see him work two telephones at once!), he's always taken the time to sit down with me and choose the best options and accessories for my cars. To say that I believe the Impala is the finest car on the road is truly an understatement. A wise man (Tony Rustad - former Rydell saleman) once said to me that you wouldn't want to purchase a vehicle from a place that you didn't like, trust, or respect. In the case of Rydell GM Auto Center there is no one that I like, trust, or respect better than these folks. As I said, you can buy a car or truck anywhere but the folks at Rydell's treat you like family. This is why I keep coming back to them and why I tell all my friends to buy there. I drive a lot! Every 2000-3000 miles I come to see my friends at Rydell's PDQ. While they believe PDQ stands for Prompt, Dependable, Quality....to me it means that they are "Pretty Darn Quick!" Thanks to people like Rudy and the rest of the PDQ staff, I'm never waiting long for an oil change or tire rotation. I know I can trust these guys to get the job done right the first time. While the $19.99 oil change special brings a lot of people in, for years now I've seen not only GM vehicles at Rydell's PDQ but vehicles from every domestic and foreign manfacturer. The funniest thing is to see new Ford, Dodge, or Hyundai vehicle waiting for an oil change at Rydell's PDQ. I know the reason people come to Rydell's PDQ: they're trustworthy and dependable. When something more serious crops up with my cars, I go to service to see my friends Bev, Rod, John, or Shane. These folks, along with the hardworking technicians in the back, keep my cars running year in and out. Since they are open till midnight and offer courtesy transportation, I never having to worry about my vehicle being down too long or finding a way to work. The Rydell service department staff are truly the unsung heroes of this dealership in Grand Forks. PDQ and Service are not just functions within a dealership entity. In Grand Forks ND, Rydell's PDQ and Service department are trusted sources of repairs and services to vehicle owners from Canada, Minnesota, and North Dakota. Everyone knows - it's just common knowledge when you've lived here as long as I have - if you've got a vehicle problem and need help fast - regardless of vehicle make - go to Rydell's. That's what everyone says - just go to Rydell's...they'll treat you right. Thanks again to the service and PDQ staffs at Rydell's. It's not only a pleasure to write this review of them, it's an honor to pay tribute to the men and women that keep my cars running in tip-top shape.
