Purchased a new Honda CRV Fred Spencer is one of the most thoughtful and thorough car salesman I have ever encountered in my adult life of 33 years over the age of 18. Not only Fred Spencer is one of the most thoughtful and thorough car salesman I have ever encountered in my adult life of 33 years over the age of 18. Not only were we not "hunted" and pestered while we looked at vehicles but he was immediately available when we wanted to ask about a particular vehicle. Fred made arrangements to "hide away" my chosen vehicle until he could get the trade in value on my previous 2014 Traverse, we were able to leave to go out of town while they visited my car in an auto body shop to work out numbers while we were at the Fargo Marathon. Fred introduced us to the finance manager, Dan Lizakowski, so we could meet up with him to figure out numbers and payment information after the Marathon. While in Fargo, I found the same vehicle at Corwin Honda, I was told by George Shipley there he would beat whatever price Grand Forks presented us with. Dan and Fred came in with our expected trade in and I was told that Corwin will let Grand Forks do the numbers and then beat their offers. After everything Fred and Dan did above and beyond our expectations including not blatantly displaying our new vehicle on the lot while we were out of town and goiter to the body shop while we were away to look at our trade in I was going to keep our business honest and local. I texted Fargo to let them know our choice and reasoning and George Shipley never even texted me back afterwards. I love my new car and Fred and Dan were amazing! Fred took an extra hour with me to show me how all the features work in my car! Thank you so much! You both were amazingly helpful! And super easy hassle free car buying for us over a busy weekend! You could have told me you didn't have to "hold" the car for me but you did anyway, only locally could you give a verbal promise both ways, and you have my complete respect and trust because of it! Even when they had a part listed on their website for $20 less than they had meant to, and I had already purchased it, receiving a confirmation email, they cancelled my order and forced me to repurchase at the price they had messed up if I wanted the part still. They hang up on you, ignore calls and emails, have absolutely terrible customer service and are just huge xxxxxxxx in general. Do not give them any business More

Terrible experience!!!! Stay away!!!!! I bought a vehicle in Jan. We gave Jon O. a check from our bank and cash for down payment. He gave us back our down payment and told us that it goes t I bought a vehicle in Jan. We gave Jon O. a check from our bank and cash for down payment. He gave us back our down payment and told us that it goes to the bank. We argued with him but he was adamant. So we left and figured they would call for it in a week or when someone found the mistake. We got a voicemail a month later from Jon saying we had failed to pay our down payment and that if we didn't pay it we would be turned into collections. So I went to talk to someone higher up, Mike L. He acted like he could care less, offering up half-hearted apologies. Needless to say I left angry with the money still in my wallet. A month later we get a letter stating that they had tried to resolve this issue with us several times and if we didn't pay our down payment they would send us to collections. So I called the corporate office wanting to talk to the owner and instead they transfer me to Mike L. I didn't know it was him at first but after I hung up I realized who it was. Same half-hearted apologies. I paid the down payment but I will never ever do business with Rydell again and I will do anything and everything to encourage my family and friends to refrain from doing business with them as well. This could have been handled so differently. Instead of putting the blame on us and using idle threats, they could have simply admitted their mistake and asked for the money. More
