🚫 Sacramento Jeep – A Masterclass in Dishonesty and Disrespect I’m writing this review to strongly warn other consumers: Avoid Sacramento Jeep at all costs. My recent experience with this dealership—e Disrespect I’m writing this review to strongly warn other consumers: Avoid Sacramento Jeep at all costs. My recent experience with this dealership—especially with Assistant Manager Oscar—was one of the most unprofessional, frustrating, and deceptive car-buying experiences I’ve ever encountered. ⚠️ Bait-and-Switch Tactics My family and I visited Sacramento Jeep to look at a used vehicle we were genuinely interested in. During the initial visit, we noticed $4,000 in added dealer-installed accessories—items we didn’t ask for and didn’t want. The sales representative and manager initially agreed to remove those charges. We didn’t finalize the deal that day, as I wanted to explore other options. That’s when Assistant Manager Oscar stepped in—and his behavior was completely out of line. When I explained I was still considering my options, he sarcastically suggested I buy a Nissan Altima because it’s “cheaper.” His tone was arrogant, condescending, and disrespectful. I was appalled. As a serious buyer who had done thorough research, I expected professionalism—not mockery. We left the dealership extremely disappointed. 📞 The Follow-Up and False Promises A few days later, I received multiple follow-up calls. Eventually, Oscar contacted me directly, and we agreed on a price over the phone—with all unnecessary charges removed. I reconfirmed the final agreed amount before returning to the dealership with my wife (the financing would be under her name). We were excited to proceed, especially our young child. Before initiating the credit application, I once again confirmed the agreed price with the sales associate helping us. She assured me the numbers were the same as discussed. However, after the credit was approved, Oscar returned—this time reinstating the $4,000 in dealer accessories, saying they were "mandatory." When I questioned this sudden change, I reminded him: We had already agreed on a final price twice—once during my first visit, and again over the phone. He himself had previously removed these charges. No one had disclosed these fees prior to running the credit. Oscar's response was dismissive, arrogant, and unacceptable: “I don’t remember you.” “It’s written on every car—you should’ve read it.” “If you don’t like it, you’re free to shop elsewhere.” This wasn’t just poor customer service—it was deliberate deception. At my request, a different manager came over, reviewed the situation, and confirmed I was telling the truth. The charges were finally removed—again—and we moved forward. 📝 Finance Department Pressure The problems didn’t end there. During the financing process, the representative aggressively pushed extended warranties. When we declined, she became clearly irritated, even saying she was losing commission because we chose not to add extras. She rushed through the paperwork so carelessly that she missed several required signatures, which led to multiple calls from various numbers the next day, disrupting us at work just to fix what should have been done properly the first time. 🚫 Final Verdict: A Dealership to Avoid Dishonest Pricing: Hidden charges are added after credit is run. Rude and Condescending Staff: Oscar’s behavior was insulting and disrespectful. Zero Transparency: Agreements are not honored, and nothing is disclosed up front. Pressure Sales Culture: Finance team prioritizes upselling over service. Lack of Accountability: Mistakes are passed onto the customer to resolve. 💡 Lesson Learned: This was our first and LAST purchase from Sacramento Jeep. I deeply regret trusting this dealership and hope others can learn from our experience. The level of unprofessionalism and manipulation here is staggering. There are plenty of reputable dealerships in the region—do yourself a favor and shop elsewhere. More
If I could give negative stars, I would. My Jeep’s check engine light came on, so my husband took it in on 2/27. Despite dropping it off at 8 a.m., they didn’t start working on it until the My Jeep’s check engine light came on, so my husband took it in on 2/27. Despite dropping it off at 8 a.m., they didn’t start working on it until the next day and later called saying it needed over $8,000 in repairs, suggesting we trade it in. When we picked up the car, the service reps criticized us for not calling ahead, and they wanted to charge us twice for diagnostics, which we argued. The car was leaking, and there were parts and bolts left on the seat—something that wasn’t there before. They hurriedly put the parts back on as the shop closed. We then went to Honda to trade it in, but they found fuel in the engine bay and declared the car unsafe. Since February, we’ve called dozens of times about the leak and shaking, but no one has responded. Now, in May, we’re stuck with a car we can’t drive or trade, and I will never buy a Jeep again. Stay away—don’t waste your time and money. More
I am another person who drove 2 hours to buy a Jeep Gladiator that I had been texting and emailing this dealerships personell about for over a month. Since its such a long ways off I needed to have thi Gladiator that I had been texting and emailing this dealerships personell about for over a month. Since its such a long ways off I needed to have things in place before coming to purchase. During the negotiation the vehicle received a few markdowns in price. We discussed out the door pricing each time and what that would look like. I was consistantly offered the vehicle at the price point plus approx. 10 percent for license tax and registration. that was the out the door price. So the truck hit 27500.00 add 2750.00 and the truck is right at 30250.00 inline with previous quoted numbers. I sent several messages saying we were coming to buy the truck at this price point. They seemed excited. I got there, my wife loves it, its the perfect truck for us, then we set down and we are ready to sign paperwork. Its an easy purchase for us, and the price is right. THEN! Surprise! they bring out a piece of paper that shows 4100.00 more for things that they had permanently attached to the truck. nitrogen in the tires, catalytic convertor etching, car security alarm system, and inside and outside special vehicle protectants. I said I don't need that and that was not in any conversation that was had before coming 2 hours to buy. They would not budge, they showed me where their website states there may be extras added at the dealership. But with no prices. This is really wrong and a poor business ethic, plus there was ample opportunity during the month of communication that this could have been disclose. I was baited, and it worked. Once an item is added to the vehicle permanently it must be part of the saleprice. It is no longer an option or addon at that point. It was very upsetting. I am a 63 year old semi disabled veteran, long trips are really hard for me plus the gas and stuff to get there. We did not buy under these terms, and I would never buy under these terms. I was already a fool to make the trip it seems. My wife and I left very disappointed. Buyers are not obligated to purchase add ons. Don't get caught in this trap that this old veteran got in. This will be reported to the fair trade commissions better business bureau process for further investigation. The resolve would be selling the truck at the 27500 plus tax, license and registration and no other adds. Plus 100 bucks in fuel I wasted. More
The worst mechanics ever! They kept my car at their shop for a week to literally destroy it! When I picked it up from there, the main issue I brought it in for was never fixed, and about 10 other issues and problems were noticed after I drove it for a couple of miles, including leaks, strange sounds, etc... They simply took thousands of dollars to break my car. More

If I could score negative, I would. My 1999 JGC needed a new heater core and the left turn signal was malfunctioning. I dropped off my car 10/19/2023, got an estimate for the heater core and turn signal repair at ~$4000, plus additional recommended repairs for $2500. I knew that repairs might take a little longer due to the auto worker strike happening at the time. After I authorized the heater core and turn signal repair, I didn't hear from them until 01/19/2024 and only after I called them a few times. I picked up my car on 01/24/2024 and the coolant was low, the tires were low, the battery wasn't charged, the tachometer and speedometer weren't registering. I returned the vehicle and didn't get it back until February. There were extra bolts in the wiper well, there were knobs missing, and the dashboard was reassembled poorly but heck, I needed a car. Today is 04/02/2024 and my left turn signal doesn't work!! I've called the service manager and "he's not available." Let's see what he says. The technician competency is very poor and not worth the risk. More
WARNING: CHECK YOUR CREDIT REPORTS: If you or loved ones have visited this dealership recently check your credit reports if you have given them any information. Last weekend, my girlfriend and I casually we have visited this dealership recently check your credit reports if you have given them any information. Last weekend, my girlfriend and I casually went into the dealership to inquire about a car we saw online. After a test drive and a brief discussion with sales representative, the manager, who was introduced himself as Cameron took over the conversation. I advised Cameron that I had a preapproval letter from my bank (which I still have proof of, because they asked me to email them a copy of the message to one of their business emails). He asked me to fill out some basic information on a form so they could contact my bank and confirm my preapproval status. (My mistake.) I stopped Cameron before he left the sales desk and asked him directly, “You are not running my credit, right?” After mumbling a few things, he said, “No. Since you are already preapproved, they should have your information, so they will not have to run your credit.” I asked him again, “You’re not running my credit, right?” He looked at me in the eyes and said, “No.” We eventually left after he and I could not come to an agreement on the monthly installments, and my girlfriend and I went on with our day. Long story short, I received a credit alert the next morning, only to find that Cameron (or someone else) ran my credit through four different banks. I tried to contact management three times this week, leaving messages with other staff. I have still yet to be contacted. I will be filing formal complaints. More
