Purchasing a car in general has been quite the task to say the least. I have never had an easier experience searching for a car and will be returning and buying more from Robert as he was personable and a say the least. I would not recommend this dealership. Robert specifically will fudge the numbers enough to make you come in there and everything will become a rush, sign this, do that. On top of that, he was not at all friendly with my friend who came with me and asked a few simple questions. Also, be ready to go into the finance guys office (feels like going to the principals office) where you will be man-handled about financing. Overall do NOT recommend. More
Anthony Arthur was excellent. The whole team really made us feel welcome and his knowledge was great. He let me take me time in deciding and I went with a White CX-9. I'll strongly consider going back when Mazda releases the Cx-9 with SkyActive tech in a few years (figers crossed because she does drink the gas down). More
Ms. Huffman is new to this location & VERY unusual in her level of service and expertise--have never had the kind of positive interaction before with a Service Manager. She is skilled at being clear and fair with her customers. You can trust that she has looked at a problem fully so when she addresses it, you neither feel the service is unnecessary nor will be done poorly. Above all, she likes people and has enthusiasm for her product. She will work towards a solution on your behalf. Our problem was an old RX-8 that needed a new engine and over 8k worth of work--it was a headache and walletache. Tasha made the experience bearable and made me wish all Managers were this good--I have owned two Hondas, a Subaru, and a Saab--she is good. More

The Mazda3 was too nice to resist and therefore I went from "looking" to "buying". Anthony Arthur was an awesome sales person from start to finish. Giving us all of the details we were looking for and answering any and all questions we gave him. The car buying process was quick, easy, and pain free! Thanks again to Anthony Arthur and Brown's Alexandria Mazda for a wonderful experience. I will recommend the dealership to all looking to purchase a new Mazda. More
My wife wanted a new car that was small yet large enough to carry large amounts of cargo to FL when we visit, the car also had to be large enough for me to drive. We enquired at Brown's Alexandria Mazda and within a few minutes Anthony replied and asked if he could help us. We started out test driving a Mazda 3 which my wife loved but realized it was probably not large enough for what she wanted. Anthony showed her the new 2014 CX-5 and she took it for a test drive. He explained all of the features and within half an hour had sold my wife on the CX-5 and all of the safety features. We told Anthony that we were also driving other makes as my wife wanted to try out the Honda CRV but Anthony gave her a price that seemed reasonable but the dealership did not have the exact vehicle with all of the features my wife wanted. After driving the CRV my wife decided the Mazda suited her better. We drove to another dealership to see if they had the exact vehicle in stock but they didn't and the dealership gave a price that was almost $1000.00 higher than what Anthony had quoted us. Later that evening Anthony called and said he had found the vehicle and would go and drive it back that night if we wanted to buy it. We said yes and on Sunday we went out to look at the new liquid silver CX-5 and my wife fell in love with it. We waited because we had to complete the sale on her vehicle Monday evening so Tuesday evening we were back at Brown's Alexandria Mazda to pick it up. There were no surprises or high pressure tactics used, just a plain simple deal and within half an hour we were out in the vehicle with Anthony setting up the Bluetooth for the cell phones, activating the XM radio and showing us how the navigation system worked. Dealing with Anthony was the best experience I have ever had in buying a new vehicle and I have been buying new vehicles since 1966. If you want a no hassle and no stress car buying experience give Anthony a call. More

After agreeing to a price through email I scheduled an appointment to pick up my new car. Only issue was that the dealership raised the rate of the car on me after I arrived. I agreed to the new price and requested to see all costs again before filling out more paperwork. The second time around they raised the agreed to processing fee. Hoped I had dodged a stereotypical dealer but turns out I was wrong. This place dampened my first new car buying experience. If you make a deal with this place prior to visiting, make sure you call ahead and confirm what they told you with the manager. No sense in wasting a weekend like I did. More

The service rep, Tasha, has poor communication skills with customers in part to her lack of basic intelligence. I took my car in for diagnostic testing and was told it would take one day. Over a week later, the testing still is not done and they can't tell me a specific problem with my vehicle. Also, they never, EVER, called me back when they said they would. Each day I would call to see when the car might be finished, and I was told I would hear back by the end of the day, and each day NO ONE called. I am waiting for a response from the Service Department so I can purchase another Mazda from Brown's in Fairfax. In fact, the Sales Manager at Brown's Fairfax was unable to get any information. At this point I am thinking about going to Rosenthal Mazda to purchase my new car. Unfortunately the Brown's Mazda Alexandria experience has made me dislike the entire Brown's name. More
