We received an email telling us we needed a software update for our Starlink subscription. We called Meredith, our favorite service writer and she scheduled us for the same morning, but with the caveat update for our Starlink subscription. She also noted that our car was not totally clean. The software update went perfectly, took an hour and a half, as promised. AND THE CAR WAS WASHED AND TOTALLY SPOTLESS, INSIDE AND OUT! We LOVE our Subaru (it is our 8 one going back to 1986 and this one has a LOT of safety upgrades which are also much appreciated. The EYESIGHT upgrades are especially welcome. Brown and now, Safford Brown Subaru always does a wonderful job, are very honest, do not try to upsell you on service, but will tell you if there are any issues that need addressing, in which case YOU decide what to do, and what and where to have it done. Although they would like to have the service done at the dealership, they are not pushy or demanding. If there were 11 stars, I would give them 12. They are the perfect dealership and the perfect service center. THEY CARE!!!!!!! More

First off, for anyone with a 2016-2023 (any model) and battery issues, tell them to check for parasitic drain from the DCM, and make sure it is replaced no matter what, especially if you are still under w battery issues, tell them to check for parasitic drain from the DCM, and make sure it is replaced no matter what, especially if you are still under warranty since this dealership and Subaru itself won't acknowledge the issue i.e., DCM parasitic draw due to the sunsetting of 3G and its connection to Starlink. Completely disheartened with how Subaru, both corporate and this dealership, handled our 2019 Outback. I came in early morning on a Monday knowing the issue ahead of time (parasitic drain from a known faulty DCM, which they already issued a service bulletin for MY23). Neither the dealership nor Subaru corporate at this time will assist in the costs ($1,000+) for a known faulty part, even though they are assisting other customers across the country. We're fortunate to be able to afford this, but all I can do is think of the numerous people and families who Subaru is ripping off. Not only that, but the service advisor ignored repeated calls for updates and didn't reach out until Friday to say the car was fixed. They also wouldn't confirm if the DCM was actually new i.e., won't be prone to the same issue. The price they listed online for the Crosstrek I was interested in is not the price they quoted me. They decided to jack up the price by about $2k and then started adding things I didn't ask for. They're not trustworthy and were just a waste of my time. I would recommend staying far away from them. I know cars sales people are notoriously shady but this is just ridiculous. My hunch is anybody who has given them a positive review must be on their payroll. More

I have bought four cars from Browns' and always received a fair deal. The service department is excellent.
