We sent applications in ahead of time, to ensure financing , agreed upon a deal for our traded truck and the truck we were purchasing. Prior to starting the 5 hour drive, my husband again talked with our salesperson Lori Hertig. She ensured us that we were approved, and that our monthly payment was right around where we wanted it. She was well aware that we were traveling 5 hours each way, with a 3 month old. Fast forward the Over 5 hour trip there, and the monthly payment she had arranged for us was $250 over what we had discussed. The salesman that ended up helping us with the sale because Lori was busy with other customers was beyond nice. He tried everything to get us down to the ballpark we wanted and had discussed with Lori. But it wasn’t possible. Now we are relying on refinancing with our local credit union to get closer to the budget we wanted. We also ended with having 5 total hard pulls for credit although we adamantly stated we did NOT want it pulled that many times, especially when we have to turn around and refinance it and have yet another pull. We absolutely will not be using this dealer and would not recommend them to anyone. For someone to be so blatantly off for an agreed upon payment, and then not so much as an apology on her behalf. Again, the gentleman who worked with us there was very pleasant (out of our 11 hours in the vehicle with a baby, and the frustration of a payment $250 higher than expected, I don’t recall his name. More
