We went to Bill Britt Mazda four times over two days, wrestling with the numbers, the options and how to make it work. Our sales rep, Kirk Ross, was patient and willing to work with us the whole time. He showed us lots of options, let us drive several models, and came up with good ideas. After a lot of time and effort by all of us, we got exactly what we wanted, on budget. This was, hands down, the best car buying experience I've ever had, and the next time I'm ready to trade Kirk Ross and Bill Britt will get first shot at the business. More

Overall it was an excellent car-buying experience, which isn't something that most people walk away from a new car purchase feeling. So we returned to Bill Britt Mazda where we not only purchased a new and were in the market to buy our daughter who is turning 18 her first new car. So we returned to Bill Britt Mazda where we not only purchased a new 2013 Mazda3 for our daughter, however we also purchased a new 2014 Mazda6 for my wife. One of the things we truly appreciated about Bill Britt is their no haggle pricing which eases the stress of dealing with the aggressiveness of salesmen and the entire negotiation process. Our salesman, named Kirk Ross was not only professional he was very personable and friendly, which eased the car purchasing process even more. Now we have three Mazdas in our family and will not only be loyal to the brand as we love their cars, but we will also be loyal customers of Bill Britt Mazda and Salesman Kirk Ross. For the year and a half that we have owned our CX5 we have been very pleased with the customer service and friendliness of their sales and service personnel. Now that we own two more Mazda vehicles we know that we can expect continued professionalism and quality of work from Bill Britt Mazda in servicing our cars. I highly recommend Bill Britt as an outstanding dealership and you just cant find a better salesman that Kirk Ross. More

Buying our new Miata was the most pleasant car buying experience we have ever had! From the moment we walked in to the dealership, we were greeted by Don. We had researched online before coming to the de experience we have ever had! From the moment we walked in to the dealership, we were greeted by Don. We had researched online before coming to the dealer so we had a very good idea of what we were interested in. Don set up the test drive quickly and before you knew it, our new car was being driven off the showroom floor so we could take it our for a good 30-60 minute test drive. Don showed how knowledgable he was about this vehicle with pointers and a quick ABC's if you will about the vehicle. Once back, Don had been working on getting an appraisal for our trade in and getting paper work together for financing. At no time did we feel pressured and were made to feel comfortable, even the occasional employee walking by greeted us and seemed genuinely interested in making us feel right at home. We were very pleasantly surprised at how generous the dealer was with the appraisal of our trade in and equally happy about the financing Don was able to offer us. Don went above and beyond, going to his trusty file cabinet for quick how to sheets on setting up the rear view mirror, clock set, etc. He also included some "fun" things like a sheet on the Tail of the Dragon, a 11 mile stretch with 311 turns to enjoy our new sports car on. Once all the paperwork was done, Don escorted across the lot to the VW dealership where Mark made signing all the pertinent documents quick, easy, and painless. Like Don and everyone else we had met from the dealership, Mark was very personable and genuinely interested in making us feel comfortable and welcome. All car dealerships should look long and hard at Bill Britt Mazda. They are THE model of what a dealership is all about, treating their customers and potential customers with respect, courtesy, and a genuine sense of making the car buying experience actually an enjoyable one. I am pleased to give a positive RAVE review for our car buying experience at Bill Britt Mazda in Fredericksburg. Over many years of buying new cars, we have have the full range of experiences from dealing with horrible, aggressive, dishonorable dealerships to being able to sail through purchases when we had a close family friend who was a dealership GM (we bought 3 cars during that timespan, all great deals with no hassle). For this purchase, we had researched the vehicles online and decided upon a 2014 Mazda CX-5 Touring level with no options and had a price range in mind for what we wanted to pay. I had planned to send emails to 6-8 Mazda dealerships in the DC area, Richmond, and Hampton Roads. As I read through dealer ratings on both Edmunds.com and DealerRater, the Bill Britt Mazda dealership stood alone as having no negative reviews, and enthusiastic recommendations for honesty and ease of conducting the purchase. So we sent only one email to Bill Britt Mazda, and from the time it was instantly answered by Kirk Ross, through maybe 4-5 email exchanges over the next week to reach an agreement on price, trade-in value and terms, it was a stress-free, respectful experience. Even our time with Mark, the finance manager, was smooth, with no pressure to buy add-ons, extended warranties, etc. I should mention both Kirk and Mark did mention that these items were available, but did not push. Kirk has been on staff since 1996 and explained that he is salaried, not a comission-only salesperson, with bonuses paid for high performance. Clearly this contributes to the relaxed, respectful way the buying experience unfolded. To conclude, we highly recommend Bill Britt Mazda, Kirk Ross personally, and look forward to having our new CX-5 serviced there because we have a feeling of trust with the entire organization. More
