I recently purchased a used vehicle from this dealership. The sales rep was James Chacon. He was extremely knowledgeable, timely, patient and excelled at his customer service skills. Any issues or questions The sales rep was James Chacon. He was extremely knowledgeable, timely, patient and excelled at his customer service skills. Any issues or questions I that I may have had, he listened and truly cared about getting the answers/solutions and handled them with extreme finesse. Also, he was very HONEST and I know this is a hard quality to find at a dealership. I would absolutely recommend him for your future purchases (new and used) and have already referred him to several people that he has assisted as well. He has earned my business for years to come! We bought our 2nd car from James Chacon. We could not be happier, he answered all of our questions. He even came in on his day off just for us. I have bought many vehicles in my life and by far buying from happier, he answered all of our questions. He even came in on his day off just for us. I have bought many vehicles in my life and by far buying from James and Five Star was the best and easiest transaction ever! They were upfront and honest about everything, it didn't even feel like I was buying car. We felt very comfortable there. I thank I know everyone there now! Lol! I made arrangements to travel from Tulsa to Carrollton to take delivery of my car. 1. Tony McCoy (Internet Sales) was great but certain things were not under his control. 2. Prep failed their job miserably take delivery of my car. 1. Tony McCoy (Internet Sales) was great but certain things were not under his control. 2. Prep failed their job miserably, the car was not ready and I had to wait three hours to get my Mustang, this after traveling 250 miles to pick it up per appointment. 3. The backseat had a cigarette butt & cigarette burn wedged under the headrest, again prep failed their job, my grandson spotted the cigarette butt right away yet prep didn't. 4. The car was a prepaid cash transaction, so there was absolutely no reason for me to even see finance, yet I had to wait my turn (45 minutes)to see the finance guy, that should have never happened. Note: I had previously spoken with finance on the phone and declined the extra cost warranty package, so I had no need to see finance. The papers should have been ready for me to sign and out the door. This was a dirt simple deal, yet they made it into an endurance contest. 5. This was a sloppy, sloppy hand off. People that I needed to see would disappear within the labyrinthian confines of the dealership corridors. It was almost laughable.....almost. 6. Overall Sam Pack Management bears the brunt of my displeasure because of their lack of organization and follow through. "Herding cats" comes to mind when I think of Sam Pack Management. They have done this thousands of times, why does it have to be so very very chaotic and unpleasant for the customer? I don't have a good answer to that question, Maybe Sam Pack can overhaul their customer delivery system because it sucks big time. Thanks for listening, JBV PS Tony McCoy (Internet Sales)did a superb job given the hand he was dealt (and this delivery day to be his day off-yet he came in to help me). Note: Sam Pack's Five Star Ford is a USAA certified dealer, so my response to them will be a mirror of this report. More
I was thrilled with the professional and expeditious manner in which John Quincey approached my request to find a new ford expedition. He was immediately engaged with my request and communicated his pr manner in which John Quincey approached my request to find a new ford expedition. He was immediately engaged with my request and communicated his progress regularly. I am typically skeptical of the sales process but John Made it painless. He found the exact car I wanted and was very attentive to the details I requested. He is my car guy and I will definitely refer to him and return to him for future ford purchases. More
James and Mo were great. Both were professional and sincerely a pleasure to work with. We had an amazing car buying experience and will be back for our next vehicle purchase when the time comes. It has been 15 months since we purchased our new 2011 Taurus. We just LOVE the Taurus and now have 27000 miles on it. Tony Lewis was a pleasure with whom to work. They met our price requirement. My search for a Ford Explorer XLT with 4WD through another dealership was futile for several weeks. The salesperson to whom I was assigned seemed less than interested in finding me a vehicle. I subm another dealership was futile for several weeks. The salesperson to whom I was assigned seemed less than interested in finding me a vehicle. I submitted an internet request via Edmunds.com. Within hours, Raj Patel of Internet Sales at Sam Pack's Five Star Ford in Carrollton, Texas answered my request with a vehicle that suited my needs. That's the good news. The bad news is that I was out of the city at the time, and by the time I returned, another salesman had sold the vehicle. Raj diligently searched for an alternate option, found one at another dealership, and brought it to the Carrollton store. I received a fair price for my trade in, Art in finance made the financial side easy and painless, Raj instructed us in the electronics of the vehicle, and we were on our way. The vehicle is still a little smarter than I, but I'll master it today. Kudos to everyone at Sam Pack's Five Star Ford in Carrollton More
On May 30, I brought my two-year-old Foucs for regular oil change and tie rotation, I waited there for more than 2 hours and finally the service was done. I was always patient when expert or genius workin oil change and tie rotation, I waited there for more than 2 hours and finally the service was done. I was always patient when expert or genius working on my car. :) When I got home in the garage, I found out there was too much noise from the engine. So I open the hood and find out the engine oil tank is open and the cap was not on it. I finally found the cap near the edge of the hood. There was some oil leaked from somewhere. I was fooled first time! On May 31, I sent email to their manager and told him the problem. He asked me to bring the car in for another oil change and detail check. His reponse was quick ( email is attached below) I thought the problem was solved and everything shoulb be OK since the manager was involved. The first time should be a mistake, people make mistake all the time. But I was totally wrong. A few days later, my wife complained the noise from the engine again. I opened the hood again and found the coolant tank was almost empty. I was fooled second time! This time I can't think it was a mistake. So I called their director, he asked me to bring the car in again. Thank him for his kindness. On June 5 (can't rember exact day), I brought my poor car in again and what I got was adding coolant. Everything fine in one week. But two weeks ago, I found there was large area stains on my garage floor, it was not oil and not water. It was coolant ! I was fooled third time! More
