Recently I decided to get serious about obtaining a new 2013 Ford Taurus after reviewing various websites and seeing the high ratings given to it in all categories. I arrived at Sam Pack's Five Star Ford o 2013 Ford Taurus after reviewing various websites and seeing the high ratings given to it in all categories. I arrived at Sam Pack's Five Star Ford of Lewisville and began talking to Eric Karban, one of the sales consultants. As I explained to Eric, I was quite sure I wanted to acquire a new Taurus, was just not sure of the interior and exterior color and what options would be available to me with the budgetary guidelines that I had. I told Eric that a test ride was a must, and we could go forward after that. After a test ride on a Taurus SEL model, I was sure that I wanted to finalize a deal. What impressed me the most about Eric was his complete honesty and ability to listen to what it was I really wanted. His soft sell approach whereby he focused in on what was important to me such as a power moon roof and dismissed those things which were either non-important or non essential to me such as key less entry was very important to me. In a step-to-step manner, we arrived at my dream car reality. Eric's approach was more of a consultative nature. His knowledge of the features, which were available, was outstanding. My current vehicle was appraised and the numbers he put together for me turned out to be to the penny exactly what was presented to me once he introduced me to the Finance Manager, Kevin Austin. I sat down with Kevin and filled out all the paperwork. Kevin was very professional and took the time to answer all my questions. I picked up my chosen vehicle in the morning. Eric took the time to explain to me the required maintenance and covered with me thoroughly all the booklets that he would give me to place in the glove compartment. Furthermore, he took the time to sync both my personal cell phone and my business phone to the Bluetooth system in my new vehicle. For the first time in my life as I drove off the dealer lot with my new Ford Taurus I felt a feeling of total satisfaction with my car dealer experience. My recommendation is that if you are in the DFW area and are in the need for a new Ford vehicle, it would behoove you to go to this dealership and request for Eric Karban to be your salesperson. Overall good experience. Did have to wait almost an hour just to finalize paperwork with the finance manager even though I was not financing the vehicle. It seemed like it could have been handled by the sa just to finalize paperwork with the finance manager even though I was not financing the vehicle. It seemed like it could have been handled by the sales associate (this is how it has been done at other dealers when I have paid in full for a vehicle). The finance portion appeared more like a final cash grab for extended warranties and "etching" which was not completed at the dealership. Nevertheless it was a good experience but could be expedited.
