I have to admit that buying my new Ford Fusion was actually a pleasant experience. Not once did I feel like I had to be on guard, or feel like I was being taken advantage of. Charlie Merrifield was my salesman and he was very courteous, professional, and made me feel like he was truly interested in taking care of me. I feel I made a friend in Charlie. Mike Thomas was the sales manager that was involved in my experience. He too was very friendly,and made me feel very relaxed as Charlie Merrifield did. Pam greeted us immediately, and was very friendly. The test drive was informative, but casual, and Pam did a great job of pointing out all of the features of the car before letting me take the wheel. I saw online that they had the truck I wanted (raptor). I then called and was told by Tony (gm) that they had a black one with the 6.2. I showed up the next morning. I hate high-pressures sales people. When I'm shopping for anything, especially a car, I expect the sales person to be knowledgable and answer my questions but then "back off". My husband and I had been shopping for a car all day, and I had my fill of pushy salespeople. We decided to try one more dealership before going home for the night. We stopped in at Sam Pack's Ford and immediately were greeted by a salesman just like at all the other dealerships, but this time when we said we just wanted to look around, the salesman said "ok" and left us alone. He didn't watch us like a hawk and hover over us. When we had questions, he answered them and then let us continue browsing. I felt absolutely no pressure! It was wonderful! More
