To purchase a new truck Am widowed female (somewhat intimidated by car sales reps) and was in the need of purchasing a truck. Having had a good experience in the Service dept Am widowed female (somewhat intimidated by car sales reps) and was in the need of purchasing a truck. Having had a good experience in the Service dept at this particular dealership in the past, I did go in to shop for a new truck. I also shopped several other places in San Antonio but this was by far my most satisfactory experience. After visiting with Mr. Garry Parmelee for just a short time, I knew this would be where I did business! I did and this was a most pleasant experience! More

Giving next purchase to competitor The sales guys were great, especially Cody. Quick, painless and simple to get the 2014 100th Anniversary Edition Charger. Every bit of good will pro The sales guys were great, especially Cody. Quick, painless and simple to get the 2014 100th Anniversary Edition Charger. Every bit of good will provided by Cody was annihilated by the Service Department and Manuel the Service Representative over a would-be minor warranty issue. On Day 1 (Monday): “The car will be ready on Wednesday, Thursday at the latest” On Day 3 (Wednesday): “We have secured the parts and will have them installed tomorrow afternoon or Friday morning” On Day 5 (Saturday): “The parts have not yet been ordered. This is the first I have heard about it. On Monday we will pay for a rental car” On Day 7 (Monday): “We will order the parts today. Here’s a low-quality Chrysler you can drive for a day or two” On Day 8 (Tuesday): “The parts should be in by tomorrow. The ‘stripe guy’ will be here first thing in the morning to do the racing stripe” On Day 9 (Wednesday): “The ‘stripe guy’ will be here this afternoon. Your car should be ready tomorrow” This feels like a sad country song about tomorrow never coming … Dodge is a good company, the Charger is a great car I would highly recommend both; however … a word to the wise: STAY AWAY FROM SAN ANTONIO DODGE CHRYSLER JEEP RAM! Best Buying Experience After researching for several weeks for a new truck I started to call and visit dealerships. Using Edmonds, Kelley Blue Book and Truecar allowed to me After researching for several weeks for a new truck I started to call and visit dealerships. Using Edmonds, Kelley Blue Book and Truecar allowed to me to decide which make, models I would pursue further...If you use Truecar, be prepared for the phone calls and emails it can be annoying. One of the many phone calls I did receive was from Dennis May, he wanted to confirm I was still in the market for a 2014 Ram 1500. He informed me the vehicle I had inquired about was still on the lot -- I agreed to check out the vehicle. Afterwards, I told him I was still in the process of looking for a new truck and I would keep the dealership in mind. Dennis is a good salesman and did his best to cut a deal, but the price from the manager did not get my attention. Went on to drive the Tacoma's and the new Colorado from Chevy, but those were not able to get the full size Ram truck out of my head. I found an online add for a 2014 Ram 1500 that really got my attention, it was the color of the Tacoma I liked, had the features of the Colorado and a price that could not be true. It was being sold by San Antonio Dodge Chrysler Jeep Ram and guess who works there...I called Dennis and he confirmed it was still on the lot, but the price was different from what I quoted him (Red Alert, Red Alert). He ensured me they would work harder to gain my business. Dennis is different from the sales of other dealerships. When I asked to see a 2014 model with the features I wanted, that is what he showed me. Other dealership would push only the 2015's with features I did not need nor could I afford. Anyway, I arrived at the dealership a few hours early -- Dennis was already with a customer. He introduced me to another salesman, who would show me the truck. I found "Jigs" to be just as pleasant as Dennis. The truck had the features/options that I wanted. After the test drive, I knew I wanted this truck. I told Jigs, lets talk price and drove back to the dealership. A few minutes later, a manager introduces himself as Ron Sutton. He tells me the price of the truck is this and I said the web site has it for this price. I politely said, it's Ok, if you don't want to sell it for that price. As I stood up to leave the dealership, Ron asked for me to wait and he would check the numbers. He offered a price a few dollars below what I had quoted (big smile). Now to the trade-in part -- his offer was not the max value AutoTrader listed, but it was a heck of alot more than I expected-- alot more. This took about 15-16 minutes. Done deal! The price I mentioned to Ron was a sales price from the previous week, but he elected to give me that price, which closed the deal. Dennis was true to his word -- they worked harder to get my business and they did. The Finance guy is like the last boss of a video game, but Len Dowling was pretty cool. I already had a pre-approved loan before I went to the dealership, so this part was really fast. Went something like this; are you interested in an Extended warranty -- not now; are you interested in GAP insurance -- already have it; well then, this is the price we agreed upon -- need your initials here, here and signature there. Plates will be here in a few weeks. Wow ! Awsome dealership More
Horrible Lemon Car....Dont buy a Dart. I've had my dodge dart in and out of the shop almost every other month since I bought the car. I bought new in 2013. This dealership tried to offer me I've had my dodge dart in and out of the shop almost every other month since I bought the car. I bought new in 2013. This dealership tried to offer me 16,000 a couple weeks after I bought it for 20,000. Dodge company its self will NOT give me a replacement car. They treated me horribly and even screamed at me on the phone, hanging up on me. Even with the help of an attorney nothing could be accomplished. Only gave me an extended warranty which did nothing since it always needs repairs. After the 30,000 mark it will cost me 150 every time I use the warranty. (cant afford this) No rental car either. Car has shut down while driving on the highway, almost getting me hit by a big rig and several other cars -within the first month, and just this last week left me stranded in Houston after being in the shop for two weeks. I bring it in and am told either that they cannot reproduce the issue or have seen it but cannot repair it (and later retract this) I cannot begin to express how upset I am about my purchase of a lemon that I cannot get rid of. This car has forced my military husband to take countless hours off work to help me with this issue. The service department always blows me off. Car was in the shop for two weeks in the beginning of October (no rental) and was told they saw nothing and could repair nothing, now it needs to go back today (Nov 3rd) I 100% regret my purchase, and am in tears due to the fact that I am stuck with a brick of a car that cant go anywhere. I dont want this DANGEROUS vehicle. Im afraid Im going to be killed in this thing. I got screwed. More
