I’ve purchased numerous vehicles in my life—from high-end showrooms to roadside lots—and while I’ve seen the full spectrum of treatment, I’ve never felt so disrespected over such a trivial matter. This wasn't about a $49 set of floor mats. It was about the dismissive and condescending attitude of those responsible for explaining the situation. If this is how they treat a cash-paying customer over a minor issue, I shudder to think how they'd respond to someone walking in with their family to buy their very first car.
