I went to have a problem diagnosed on my car. The tech that I dealt with came back with an outrageous quote and a list of things that needed to be done. I paid him the $71 for the information and The tech that I dealt with came back with an outrageous quote and a list of things that needed to be done. I paid him the $71 for the information and then had another local guy to check out my car. He said that the quote that I got from Sand Mountain Toyota was wrong and that I didn’t need all they had suggested. This man fixed my car for $300!! This man is an honest and reputable business owner who was much more knowledgeable than the tech at the Sand Mountain Toyota dealership. I am livid that this dealership ( that I bought this car from new) tried to rip me off of $3000!!! Maybe they weren’t trying to rip me off, because they didn’t have a clue what they were doing. It might have been because I am a woman and they thought I was gullible enough to just take their word for truth. Actually the repairs they said my car needed would not have fixed the real problem. I’ll never use Sand Mountain Toyota again.for service. Also they ran my car through the car wash and supposedly vacuumed it. The wash was good, but if I had told someone that I vacuumed their car I would have at least tried to make it look like I had done something. There was little to no vacuuming done in the back floorboards. Also they left black grease on my steering wheel. I’m very disappointed! More
