Well our experience with Sanders Ford did not start out so well, when we first visited the Jacksonville location we had the experience of meeting John Berger. We were interested in the Ford Edge Sport as w so well, when we first visited the Jacksonville location we had the experience of meeting John Berger. We were interested in the Ford Edge Sport as we had researched them already online and wanted to test drive one. He was very condescending and rude with us, did not even ask a price point we were interested in, assumed we could not afford the Sport, tried to talk us down to the Escape and pretty much dismissed us. We did not appreciate how we were treated at all by him and started looking at other dealerships, we decided to look at the swansboro location and happened upon DeWayne Gamble, and he is the ONLY reason we bought from Ford at all. He not only found the Sport for us, which John had told us they were not getting any any time soon but made us feel so comfortable from the time we got there until even now. He has answered every question we have had, even the silly ones. If he didn't know the answer, he found it out, didn't leave us hanging. If and when we buy again it will be through him. The Swansboro location is a gem and DeWayne Gamble is a fantastic salesman. Thank you again, DeWayne!!! More

We have bought multiple cars over the years but this was the least complicate and very well done. Our vehicle purchasing experience with Sanders Ford was without a doubt the BEST we could have ever asked for. After an internet inquiry as to availability of the vehicle we were looking for and a quick on without a doubt the BEST we could have ever asked for. After an internet inquiry as to availability of the vehicle we were looking for and a quick on-line credit application DeWayne responded back immediately, with professionalism and courtesy, verified our vehicle and financing requirements and made arrangements to meet us at the dealership. My wife arrived first to have the trade-in appraised and to take a test drive. When I arrived DJ took a copy of my license, asked me a couple of questions and went to see the finance Manager, Joe, while we waited we got to test drive the vehicle again. Up until now this process was typical, above average, but still what I was expecting. Then the surprise, there was NO “I need to talk to my Finance Manager, I’ll be right back Shuffle”, NO haggling over the agreed upon price, NO up selling, NO arguing over the value of the trade-in, NO shopping for lenders. No pressure of any kind! Within a half hour we were sitting in the Finance Manager Joe’s office, he was organized, prepared, we thought we were dreaming, they hadn’t even told us what our payments were going to be (We thought this was the big letdown) We were wrong, and had the documents signed in fifteen minutes. The trade in allowance was fair, the payment and interest rate were right where we wanted to be including a full 36 month, 36,000 mi. warranty and unlimited Gap Insurance and to top it off the vehicle was being detailed and given a full tank of gas. It is refreshing to see that level of ethics and professionalism today. I would recommend Sanders Ford, DeWane and Joe to anyone looking to make a vehicle purchase. I am already looking forward to my next purchase. More
