Sands Chevrolet - Glendale

Our Sales consultant was wonderful. He did a great job at not pressuring us or making us feel obliged to committ to anything. He got a the car we were looking for even when it wasn't in the their lot. Nelson not pressuring us or making us feel obliged to committ to anything. His supervisor on the other hand, I believe his name was Andrew, was the complete opposite. He tried to make us feel guilty for wanting to go somewhere else when at first we could not get the deal we wanted. He went as far as telling us we were wasting his and his sales consultant's time and efforts when we decided that we might go somewhere else because we couldn't find what we were looking for and he even tried to push a couple lemons onto us when we clearly stated exactly what we wanted not realizing WE are the Consumer and it is OUR business which secures his job and postion. If not for Nelson we wouldn't have stayed and purchased a vehicle here. We were even promised a certain deal by one of the financing associates but in the end got nothing close. If not for Nelson and actually having the exact car we were looking for, I would probably convince everyone i know that this place has the worst ethics and one of the supervisors has the worst, nastiest approaches to auto sales I could ever imagine. It would have been a traumatic experience if Nelson did not personally take care of us the way he did. More

During the weekend I stopped in at the Chevrolet Tent Sale to visit Sands Chevrolet looking for a new Cruze. Soon after I arrived I was helped by Stephen. When I came in to Sands Chevrolet I was greeted immediately which I live very much. I don't like coming into a business where I have to walk around for 10 mins to be noticed or helped. The gentleman who assisted me was very knowledgeable and very friendly. He made me feel very comfortable and relaxed. Which is nice when making a large long-term purchase. Charles was very informed and able to answer all of my questions with ease. He has a great personality and very fun to talk to. He could tell right off the bat that I was unsure if I wanted to make a purchase so he did not push me into something I might not need. He took me around and let me look at many different types of cars answering my tedious questions of gas mileage, cost, safety rating, maintenance costs and of course whether or not he thought I looked cool in it. Haha. I did not make a purchase that day but I will definitely be back to talk to Charles when I decide to make a decision. All in all I had a very good experience with Charles and sands dealership, I am pretty confident I will make my purchase there and many more to come over the years.
