I would stay far away from this dealership. We were there for 2 hours and the dealer insisted on charging $289 for etching (scam), $1500 for a desert package (scam), and $499 on some environmental package (s for 2 hours and the dealer insisted on charging $289 for etching (scam), $1500 for a desert package (scam), and $499 on some environmental package (scam). We drove over an hour to visit this dealership based off the internet quote we received on a Forte they JUST had delivered. When we arrived the sales man was super nice, but the problems started when we wen the internet quote we received on a Forte they JUST had delivered. They INSISTED on charging a $1500 extra for a mandatory "Desert protection package" and $300 for VIN etching that had not even been installed yet. The desert protection package consists of nothing but window tinting, a paint pen, and nitrogen in the tires. This is all snake oil (as is the VIN etching.) I insisted that they removed the package and they refused, even though they literally had just taken the car off the truck from the manufacturer. They have no documentation for the package, nothing advertised on their website, it's all a joke. Over the course of negotiating with them the salesman and manager would keep coming back with new sales sheets that all had different figures. We would negotiate the price, so they would print a new sheet but they would have altered some of the discount in another area. When I called them out they insisted "oh it's a typo" and leave to fix it, then come back with another "typo" somewhere else in the figures. So I decided to see if I could recoupe some savings with my trade in and their lowball over was so far off the mark it was ridiculous. They want to charge you $1500 to "recondition" the car (without even seeing the vehicle), but they deduct that off the KBB trade in price that ALREADY takes reconditioning costs in to account. They are SNAKES at this dealership. They couldn't even come close to the figure their website GUARENTEED me (It even sent me a PDF Certificate to lock in the pricing.) Do not trust this dealer. More

All the negative reviews are spot on with this place. We bought a "new" Sedona here 2 years ago. It was deeply discounted because it was a dealer demo. This basically means it was used by the dealership for varies things including as a courtesy vehicle for others during repairs. It had 6k miles on it, but never been titled, so sold as new. Finance team is very sneaky. They tried adding an extended warranty for $2500 without my permission, and refused to reprint the contract until I threatened to walk. It ended up being a complete lemon. The first summer, the A/C completely stopped working. Brought it back to Sands for service, and they said it was the compressor. It was replaced. Driving back from service after a new compressor, the A/C is still blowing hot. I take it back. The "service manager" wants to keep it overnight and drive it around to reproduce the issue. He drives it home that night, puts close to 100 miles on it, and hands it back over saying it's working fine and within Kia's specs. Still blowing hot. I finally took it to Peoria Kia and they determined Sands failed to flush out the lines and replace/clean the desiccant bag, which was chalked full of debris. Typically a desiccant bag is replaced with a compressor. Just traded in the Sedona this past week. I thought I would give Sands another shot. What a joke! After we walked out they called us back and offered some additional money for our trade and discount to include gap in the deal. I told them we didn't want to waste time, I was leaving town. They still made us wait over an hour - and charged me for the gap when the sales rep said in a text message to me it would be included! And get this - one of the "discounts" they were giving me was from the gap on my previous car that was supposed to be refunded to me. Outright lies by sales rep and sales manager. The avg consumer would be non-the-wiser. I was told by both the sales rep and the sales manager (later via phone) that the car we bought (yes, we ended up buying it) had remote start. We sat outside for 30 minutes trying to get the remote start configured. They said we needed to try from our wifi at home. Got home, still not working. I call Kia and they say the car doesn't have a remote start. Unreal. Stay far away! More
