They broke the part attached to it that wasn't under warranty , and i had to pay for the part. Truck only has 44000 miles on it and i bought it brand new from them , and had bought another brand new truck from them previously. The service manager offered me a free oil change, i don't trust them being anywhere around my truck. More

They charged $115 to run a diagnosis and Lenny recommend the repairs and service listed below. She bought the car new and has taken excellent care of it having all recommend maintenance and oil changes done every 3 to 4k miles. Currently, the car has 53k miles and runs great. The car does need brakes and tires which I am taking car for her. Thankfully she did not have any repairs done, but I hope other seniors are not being taken advantage. My grandmother is thinking about purchasing a new vehicle, but not I will recommend not going to SS. Let me know what you think. 02 sensor = $98 Front pads = $186 Rear pads = 182 Brake Flush = $98 Front crank seal = $161 Oil pan gasket = $666 Intake gasket, VC gaskets, oil pump seal, o rings = $929 Coolant Flush $125 Oil & Filter $30 ( she had her oil change 2500 miles ago and looked good to me) Power Steering flush $95 Battery Service $30 ( Why not just buy a new battery) Alignment $90 Total: $2690 More

I took my 2011 Malibu in due to a noise in the front end. They took the front end apart and told me nothing was wrong with my car I assured them there was so the service tech did a test run with me he then h They took the front end apart and told me nothing was wrong with my car I assured them there was so the service tech did a test run with me he then heard the same thing I heard I asked him what he thought and he said sounds like the strut mount on the left side okay so he said he was gonna take it apart again so I waited for a couple of hours for Lenny to tell me that my strut, the mount, the bearing and bumper shield whatever that is all need to be replaced on the left side so I have the extended warranty and factory warranty he quotes me all this stuff and tells me that the extended warranty will cover parts (strut only) and labor after 100 dollar deductible they had my car for a day I pick my car up and have to pay 475 dollars (didnt seem right )but I paid it then he tells me well you need to watch the right side it looks like it's going bad what the xxxx 44000 miles and the struts are bad I heard nothing on that side as well As the tech that did a test run with me didn't not even two days later my car is making the same noise plus other noises now you would think that if you notice a problem while working on someone's car you would call them to see if they want to repair that as well I feel as if I were screwed to have to pay all that money again instead of them fixing it all at once I wouldn't Be suprised if they didn't replace the parts at all and now the whole car squeaks I called them about this problem and they said we told u the right side was going bad when u picked up the car really and what about the squeaking well u can bring it in and we can look at it I don't want them to do the other side use to I already paid 475 they should.have called me to repair both at the same time I will take my car elsewhere where it is done right the first time and not have to pay an arm and a leg when it is suppose to be covered under warranty Will not recommend them to anybody I know and don't know More
I brought in my 2005 Corvette for a GM Coolant System Flush and Fill. Not sure if it got done correctly as I only have a receipt to prove the endeavor and expense. However, I was also promised a 37 poi Flush and Fill. Not sure if it got done correctly as I only have a receipt to prove the endeavor and expense. However, I was also promised a 37 point or 137 point or whatever Safety Check as a Courtesy and the Service Tech never did perform it. I was told that my Roof Top Panel was defective and that they would have to order a new one under a Factory Recall. The Panel came in a week later and I made an appointment. Showed up and they changed their minds. Told me the Roof Panel was not OEM and therefore I did not qualify for the replacement Roof Panel. WTH? Why would they order a new one in the first place? Also, the second reason for my visit was to have a Front License Plate Holder installed. $92 and 2.5 hours later I am looking at a stick on (3 pieces of sticky pads) piece of plastic that is crooked. Really? My Service Advisor, Lou Ann, was awesome. Professional, Friendly, and very supportive. Bottom line is the Front License Plate holder started to fall off and I called the General Manager after doing an online after service survey. Dave was very helpful and professional and advised me to get a refund. So, I took the Vette back, returned the falling off license plate holder, and left. I will not return to Sandy Sansing Chevrolet again for my 2014 C7 Corvette purchase as I need to be able to depend on professional service technicians to do their job. The Staff was awesome but what's the point if you can't get decent and professional service on your $50,000 luxury performance sports car. My overall sales experience with Pete Moore Chevrolet was awesome but I don't have any service experience so the jury is still out on that one. Hopefully positive as I will not buy a new Chevy if I can't get it professionally serviced. JP More
I purchased a Chevy silverado from a private owner and bought a extended warranty on it. So I took it up to sandy sansing talked to Brian about getting my window motor replaced ad some fuel problems check bought a extended warranty on it. So I took it up to sandy sansing talked to Brian about getting my window motor replaced ad some fuel problems checked along with computer issues. He called me the next day and told me that the truck had been modified in the rear axle so the warranty was void. He was a nice guy and helpful so I took his word for it. Paid 217.00 just for that.. I agreed that I might have to pay that but he said I probably wouldn't unless it was severe, and him makin a phone call 5 hours later didn't seem that severe. Long story short I called to cancel my warranty found out sandy sansing never called to check if the warranty would cover everything else but the rear axle. I called Brian back he mumbled some stuff, and I asked him to call the warranty since he didn't in the first place he said ok "i will get back with you today or tomorrow" it's been a month.. Just shows me all they cared about was a easy $200. Hate to sound ugly just want someone to watch out if they never been there. More
I am unhappy with the service I received from the service department. First off, let me say the advisor, Valerie, was polite, and pleasant to work with. However, the technician was the issue. I brough department. First off, let me say the advisor, Valerie, was polite, and pleasant to work with. However, the technician was the issue. I brought my father-in-laws pickup in because the A/C was not working. An hour in a half later, they told me they could not find anything wrong, except for the freon had leaked out. They said they had serviced it, added dye, and asked me to come back in two weeks to be checked for a leak. That was $216.00 Two weeks later, the A/C was still cold, but I brought it in, as asked. I told Valerie, that after the technician serviced it the last time, the system was cold, but I kept hearing a gurgling sound from behind the glove box, and asked for him to look at it. After an hour of waiting, I was told it was going to be a while, because the tech had been assigned a steering column. No biggie, so I waited. However, after two and a half hours later, I was again told there were no leaks, and that the gurgling sound was the freon being converted from a gas, back in to a liquid. Sounded weird, but accepted the explanation, and left. I had been there for over four hours. The next day, the system began running warm, so I brought the truck back. I asked Valerie if she knew whether the technician had serviced the system the last time I was there (a couple of days prior). The technician happen to be standing there, so she told him how the system was running warm and asked. With a "smirk" on his face, he said, "Nothing was cooling yesterday", and walked off. I was taken a back. Maybe he had had a rough morning. Two hours later, I was given a quote. According to the quote, almost everything in the A/C system was bad. Compressor, canister, orifice, o-rings, etc... and, by the way, the water pump was bad, and needed a fan clutch! I was quoted over $1800.00 (Really?)! The truck is blue booked at $4700.00. It was apparent to me, the technician did not troubleshoot the system the first time I came. Especially with his explanation of the gurgling sounds. I went to the local parts store, with the quote, and picked up OEM parts for $285.00, came home, installed them myself, then took the truck to a local repair shop and had the A/C system evacuated and serviced, for $80.00, and now the A/C system runs fantastic, AND no gurgling sounds! I have purchased 2 cars from the Sandy Sansing group, a G35 and a Murano, and had great service. This was the first time I have been dissatisfied, and am not sure when, or if, I will be bringing any of my vehicles there for repairs. More
