Service appt made, told at dealership it has to wait We made an online appointment for service for my wife's car on Saturday. It was accepted and we received a confirmation number. Drove an hour from DeF We made an online appointment for service for my wife's car on Saturday. It was accepted and we received a confirmation number. Drove an hour from DeFuniak Springs, only to be told that all they do on Saturdays is oil changes. This should be advertised as such on their website. He didn't know anything of our appointment made through the website. He told us we could leave it until Monday, but that wasn't an option as we drove one car over, and she needed it for work. We ended up giving our business to Firestone in Pensacola so it wasn't a total waste. If you don't use the online tool for service appointments, don't offer it. And please advertise that you only do oil changes on Saturdays. Will go elsewhere in the future. More
Truly awful after sales service Easy to be all smiley and sell a car. My golden retriever could do that. I've always said a good car dealer is one who provides great after sales. It Easy to be all smiley and sell a car. My golden retriever could do that. I've always said a good car dealer is one who provides great after sales. It's obvious this one doesn't share my values. I won't be specific as to why I'm writing this but for those who treated my wife so poorly then shame on you. She wasn't going to pursue the issue but I was., and having contacted them and was told she would hear from a rep, that they were deeply concerned about this, well guess what? She never heard from them. And they won't be hearing from us again. We are done with these phonies. Hey SS Chevrolet don't bother emailing/calling. You're fired.. More
the worst experience of my life. To many problems to list. Bought a new traverse from Sandy Sanding. We have had the car in for service then we have used it. We went back three times To many problems to list. Bought a new traverse from Sandy Sanding. We have had the car in for service then we have used it. We went back three times to get an oil change fixed, are car was leaking oil after it was serviced. The last time we took it back they fixed the oil leak by replacing the oil filter. On my wife's way home after the third visit she got a call....they had forgot to put the dip stick back in. An oil change is one of the easiest things to do and yet took three times to get it right and then they forget the dip stick. This is the least minor problem. We have had six more serious situation that took them several times to do fight. Our car, with 17,000 miles on it has been in the shop for 11 days. When my wife stopped by yesterday to get some things out of it, the engine was sitting on the floor next to the car. More
Not clear on the expenses of work My dad took his Nissan truck in to the service department at Sandy Sansing in Pensacola to have it diagnosed for an overheating problem with the radia My dad took his Nissan truck in to the service department at Sandy Sansing in Pensacola to have it diagnosed for an overheating problem with the radiator. He was told that there was a $105.00 diagnostic fee that would be charged and later applied to the work. They worked up an estimate of over $3,000.00 of things that could be done to the truck, some things were about the overheating others just work that was suggested. He decided to take it somewhere else for the work but told them to do an oil change and an allignment to use up the $105.00. We get there to pick up the truck and are now being charged $213.00 for the diagnostic fee and the work. The manager said that it would only apply to the "overheating" problems not the other things on the list that they gave him. I don't feel that this was a fair or clear representation of the "credit". The items were on the estimate so we assumed that they could be used. More

They charged $115 to run a diagnosis and Lenny recommend the repairs and service listed below. She bought the car new and has taken excellent care of it having all recommend maintenance and oil changes done every 3 to 4k miles. Currently, the car has 53k miles and runs great. The car does need brakes and tires which I am taking car for her. Thankfully she did not have any repairs done, but I hope other seniors are not being taken advantage. My grandmother is thinking about purchasing a new vehicle, but not I will recommend not going to SS.
