Good Afternoon Nick! It was a pleasure speaking with you the other day. We apologize that you feel this way. We are in the business of selling cars and trucks, and want nothing more than to assist with doing so. You were looking for a specific vehicle. We negotiated pricing with you and began the process of dealer trading for that vehicle. After beginning that process, you took it upon yourself to contact multiple dealers, work pricing with those other dealers and then requested for them to dealer trade for the exact same vehicle. Unfortunately, when you put too many hands in the pot someone is going to miss out. Yourself included. Once we realized what was happening and that a different dealer had traded for your vehicle, we immediately refunded your credit card deposit. Brian Snyder and Carsten Rueffer were in contact with you, and sent you multiple copies of the transaction receipt. It can take a few days for refunds to post to your credit card statement, and you would need to discuss that with your bank. You advised Brian and Carsten that you still wanted to purchase a vehicle from Sarasota Ford, and they worked out pricing on a replacement vehicle. You declined that vehicle, as it was not the same VIN number of the vehicle you had another dealership trade for. We sent you a $100 Gift Card to reimburse for your fuel expense.
