Mor than enough time to have sealed the purchase. And I didn't know if my earlyconta about the truck had made me the pending buyer/ owner!! Has been very confusing and frustrating to still see this maverick being offered for. sale, being in stock; yet still listed as " sale pending on this truck!! Not very good communication on a vehicle listed on your cars.com site!! Middle of the road to por rating by me based on the lack of real time information on this maverick truck which is pretty much exactly what I was searching for!!?! More

I wanted to give this Dealership at least three stars but in the words of Brian (one of the sales managers), I just could not justify doing that under the circumstances. So first, the two stars are based on the outstanding service I received from Mike Contoni. If you are looking for an "A" list sales rep, he is it he put in work. Just to watch someone else mess it up. Mike's efforts represent the two stars listed otherwise I would have found a way to give "0" stars. After my experience, I would trust this dealership to be true to its word on anything. I made a counter offer on a 2007 (C6) Corvette to Brian and he asked would I buy the car and I said yes. I was under the impression that we had a confirmed price out the door and proceeded to schedule a non-refundable third-party inspection of the vehicle and planned a flight to hopefully make a purchase pending the outcome of the inspection. Then hours later I was told that the offer would be $700 more than previously discussed. Could I have just paid the $700.00 and finalized the purchase? Sure, but it was about the principle of the matter in the end. So I walked away from the purchase. The inspection came back good to go, I'm out of $179.00 and I'm sure they will have no problem selling the car at the new price point given its condition. However, I still give this dealership two stars as my fair and honest review of the good, bad, and ugly at Sarasota Ford. The good news is I got a good deal on a Jaguar V8 F Type to serve as a placeholder while I wait on my C8 Corvette order to be filled. More
