Nightmare! I have been a Toyota customer for 15 yrs. I recently bought a used Toyota and was very displeased with the process. First off the sales associate wa I have been a Toyota customer for 15 yrs. I recently bought a used Toyota and was very displeased with the process. First off the sales associate wanted to run my credit twice, but thsnk goodness I refused. The sales mentor told me my credit score was a 723 and told me that I could get an interest rate of 4.1%. I told him I would think about it and come back. I left and came back a few days later and was asked if I had been late on a payment because my my new interest rate that they could now offer me was a 5.9%. I said no, what is my credit score? He said a 723. Why did my interest rate change, but yet my credit score was still the same!? I know they were trying to get more money from me at the end of the day. Do not fall for this scam. It was the most difficult car buying experience. As if that wasn't bad enough, the dealership never detailed my car before I drove it off the car lot!!! More
