Sayville Ford was performing a NYS inspection and told me my Explorer needed a drive cycle to pass. Service advisor George Van-Glahn asked me to come back in take the car and drive it 50 to 100 miles, then b my Explorer needed a drive cycle to pass. Service advisor George Van-Glahn asked me to come back in take the car and drive it 50 to 100 miles, then bring it back and they would complete the inspection. While I was paying the bill George told me face to face, that when I bring the car back in to complete the inspection, I will not be charged the fee again, seeing I already paid it. So I drove the 50 -100 miles, brought it back and had to wait an hour and a half for them to complete the inspection, which they did. When I went to leaving I was told by another service advisor that I needed to pay again for the inspection and they would not let me take my car until I paid. I explained that I was promised I wouldn't''t have to pay the inspection fee twice, but George Van-Glahn was not available to verify and they could not get a hold of him. They told me to pay the fee again and that when they got in touch with George he could issue me a refund. I tried getting in touch with George Van-Glahn to rectify the issue and approve the refund. I text and emailed and left six voicemail messages on George's phone over the next week and got no response. I then called and left a voicemail with the head service manger Dimitri Kreatsoulas and explained the issue and again have not received any response. I am not sure why I have not received a response after text, email and seven voicemail messages. What type of business does that to a customer? If I knew I had to pay for the inspection again, I would have just brought my car to Jiffy Lube and been in and out in 10 minutes, rather than wasting an hour and a half of my time. If George made a mistake in saying I wouldn't have to pay again, then you own up to the mistake and apologize. I wouldn't have been happy but I would have accepted the apology, everyone makes mistakes. But for George and the head service manger Dimitri to completely ignore my attempts to reach out is completely unprofessional and unacceptable! More

When I followed up they gave me the run around and eventually told me they weren’t going to do anything and it was normal to have scratches on a new car and that I was getting a bed liner so the defects don’t matter. I then left a review and they called begging me to change it. They promised again, deleted my review and refused to address the issues unless I gave a good review first. When I wouldn’t give the review before they did the work, they stopped returning my calls. Unfortunately I had high hopes and I tried to work with them but they don’t care about customer service, only their reviews. I would not trust them again. More
The finance guy Joe is a snake oil salesman. I went in to buy a $56,680truck. Ford's website showed $1,000 incentive and 1.9% financing. When I went to sign, he said the interest rate was 9.45%. In order to get the 1.9% he had to add all kinds of extra's that brought the total to $64,705. That's $9,000 more! The extra's included a 3rd party warranty extension, free car washes, and other charges that I did not need. Total scam. I needed that particular truck so I signed. More
