I know the initial reaction to getting work done at a dealership is that they will overcharge you for the quality of work done or that they come up with bogus charges. That is NOT the case at Schaumburg dealership is that they will overcharge you for the quality of work done or that they come up with bogus charges. That is NOT the case at Schaumburg Toyota. They do a great job on all their work, and you can see that they take pride in what they do. The person I worked with, Steve, was great, and not only made sure I got the service I needed, but that there were no other major issues that needed to be addressed. This time there was not any major issues and my service was taken care of quickly and efficiently and without any hassle. I like the fact that Steve remembers who I am, and if he has done any work on my car recently. They must go through hundreds of cars on any given day, and yet he still remembers people and cars that he has worked on. I also like that I can do a full days worth of work at my job, and still be able to take my car in to get work done. I don't know of many other service departments that are open until midnight on a regular basis that is not considered emergency work or something of that extent. I drive out to the suburbs from Chicago for that reason. With the way gas prices are shooting up, and the time it takes to get out there, I'm sure it would be easier to go somewhere local to get work done on my car, but I have always had great service. I have known Ricky for 16 years and he has always been friendly, remembered me and my car, and helped me get my car serviced. He always looks for the best way to keep the costs down on repairs. I feel that I receive up-front honest information regarding my vehicle and I am also listened to when I have concerns. I'm not treated like I don't know anything about my vehicle and that is important to me, being a woman. I have never felt like I have been taken advantage of. The maintaintance of my car is handled by Brian Matuszewski and JB.JB is the only person who has worked on my car since I purchased it and I have not had any probs.The customer service that has been extended to me by Brian and this company is awesome.I may not have the most expensive car coming into the service dept, but the guys treat me like a queen and have taken such good care of my car. I had a problem with front end alignment in my 2009 Scion TC and somehow It couldn't get fixed at another dealer. /They sent me home with broken alignment twice/ I found them over internet reading customer reviews and a number of "stars" that have been given to them. First when I arrived I explained to my Service advisor Tim S. what is the problem with my car, and that it has alignment screwd up by another Toyota service and If they can't bring it back to perfection I don't want them to touch my car. Tim Stuart said that "good job is something that they can do every day", and he can take care of my TC the way that I ask for. And he mean it. My TC was serviced by Jim B. ...person who looks like the one who loves to do his job. He explained me everything I wanted to know. Told me what was wrong with car, what He can do to have it fixed and how is it gonna be after. Believe or not but it is really nice to drive my car now. I can find nothing to complain. I will let anybody know about the Highest level of service that they represent. But that could be achieved only having Tim S. and Jim B. as a team. You can be sure that you got me as a customer for now on. And I will do whatever it takes to let as many people I know about my service experience. Stay away from this place!!!! It's a rip off joint. They consistently tell you that you need things replaced that don't need to be replaced. Please just stay away. Even for the bullshit recall.
