I wasn't notified I've previously had phenomenal encounters with Subaru City. My wife and I have one car (XV Crosstrek bought at Subaru City). I needed a seat belt repl I've previously had phenomenal encounters with Subaru City. My wife and I have one car (XV Crosstrek bought at Subaru City). I needed a seat belt replaced and seeing as our car has many purposes - besides being a single car for our family - including basic transportation, we have a 4 month old so the car seat is in the car, we both drive for Lyft & Uber, and we travel to and from the east coast often via driving. I called and scheduled an appointment and was told that the seat belt was ordered while I was on the phone. The appointment was for a week in advance and when I arrived I added an oil change. I wandered around Target and such for 2 hours and saw my car parked outside so I figured that the job was completed. When I was checking out though, I was told that the seat belt had not been replaced. Now, this could've been fine, but I never received a phone call or notification that the part was no longer in stock! The 2.5 hours that day and the rescheduled appointment for the next day to actually complete the repair needed to be better! I used more than 6 hours of my time as a new father, work, support and more and the one thing that i needed and scheduled an appointment for took way too long. And, seeing that I drive to make money as well, I couldn't do that either. I needed to be told immediately that my primary need was not going to be done! Immediately! I was quite disappointed in the service for the first time. I think this was a joint failure in not addressing and notifying me that my primary need had gone unattended. Worked Hard for Me After spending weeks looking for a car, I decided to look at Subaru City. Bryan was the salesman I worked with. After looking at an 04 Subaru Forester After spending weeks looking for a car, I decided to look at Subaru City. Bryan was the salesman I worked with. After looking at an 04 Subaru Forester on a Saturday and putting a deposit down on it, I decided the following Monday that it wasn't for me and I wasn't going to take it. I called Bryan to tell him that I appreciated what he had done for me and if he found something that suited my 4 door sedan or 2 door coup taste to let me know. Right away he called with a trade-in they got THAT DAY, quoted a potential price, and I could come look at it Tuesday, and my deposit would be transferred. Tuesday I went to look at it (an 06 Subaru Legacy) and liked what I saw. That day it was detailed to me what was going to be done on the car in terms of replacements and repairs. Bryan was able to push the vehicle through inspection and repairs as a top priority for me so that the car would be ready for a test drive Friday. I was called Friday morning with a confirmation that it was ready. I test drove it and jumped on the deal. Bryan quoted me the same price that was given Monday, and we were able to make a deal real easy. The only problems encountered was the time it took to clean the car after I decided on the deal and the length of waiting time to sign the financing papers. However for those reading this please note the reasons why. It took them some time to clean the car because of how fast it was pushed through and they didn't have time to clean the car in between the events of the week. I received a very clean car to the utmost satisfaction. The reason financing took long as well was because it was the end of the month and there was a line. Overall incredible customer service and incredible attention to detail. I know this post was long but the story was needed to outline the work they did for me. A big thank you to the Subaru City team and Bryan Spigarelli. More
