Felt like a criminal under investigation for a crime. I've owned my 2012 Subaru Impreza for about 3.5 years. During this time, I took it in to Schlossman's Subaru in 2013 and asked them to check on my oil I've owned my 2012 Subaru Impreza for about 3.5 years. During this time, I took it in to Schlossman's Subaru in 2013 and asked them to check on my oil level warning light illuminating approximately 1,000 miles after an oil change. They said there was no problem and the oil consumption was normal. I've been adding a quart of oil every 2,000 miles ever since. I had also returned the vehicle to Schlossman's for a air bag seat sensor recall in 2015. I experienced the same problem described in the air bag recall AFTER the repair and returned it for re-evaluation. They insisted that the recall work had been performed did not want to talk to me. I've been receiving reminder postcards from Subaru that my recall was still outstanding. Fast forward to this week. I received a notification of a class action lawsuit regarding the excessive oil consumption and scheduled an oil consumption test at Schlossman's. When I brought the car in, the Service Writer gave me the third degree as to why was I brining the car in?, have I been adding oil?, is the oil level warning light on?, etc., like I was making this stuff up. She also told me that there was an outstanding recall on the car and asked if I wanted it taken care of at the same time! I told her that Schlossman's had done the recall work, that I had another issue after the recall, and that I was told it's impossible and that according to their records, the recall service had been performed. She said, "Who told you that?" I said, "YOU did." When I picked the car up she asked me who was doing my oil changes? I told her a couple of Quick Lube establishment near my house. She scolded me for allowing the vehicle "to go 2,000 miles beyond the oil change interval noted on the sticker." I told her the service interval on the Subaru was 7,500 miles and that the Quick Lube had a 3,000 mile interval on the sticker. I was actually 2,5000 mile EARLY. Once the oil consumption test shows that I need a new engine, and I have Schlossman's replace it, I will never return. More

Working with Jeremy Stilb I have known Jeremy for about 15 years and he has always been amazing. I tracked him down at Schlossmann's and even though it was a 30 minute drive fr I have known Jeremy for about 15 years and he has always been amazing. I tracked him down at Schlossmann's and even though it was a 30 minute drive from home, I had to buy my mom's car from him. As usual, he made the entire process seamless and a fabulous experience. It was not an easy sale, as my mom and I were buying the car together, but she lives in Kentucky and since she will be driving the car, it took a while to determine how to title the car. To make it more confusing, she was trading in her 14 year old Trail Blazer (that Jeremy had sold her 12 years ago), and was licensed in Kentucky. Regardless of the issues and challenges, my mom was able to drive her brand new Forester out of the dealership, to my house, and then, the next day, to her home. Jeremy took close to 2 hours to explain the car and it's features to my mom. She is 73 and is normally terrified of technology and is convinced that she would never understand it. However, Jeremy explained it everything so well that I think she had to call him 2x with questions. (FYI, Jeremy, gave my mom and me his cell # in case she had questions) I think that Jeremy wished that he had his camera to record my mom's reaction to all the 'gadgets' on her new car. She was like a 16 year-old driving off in her brand new car. Almost a month later, she can not stop giggling or bragging about her new car. Thank you Jeremy. You worked with me for almost a month and saved the car that mom had picked out! Tori will need a car in about 4 years, when she is 16, and you know I will be back! She will only be given a Subaru for safety reasons, and it must be bright/turquoise blue, probably need to work with the body shop on that Also, I don't want to forget to mention Sam in Finance. She was also a pleasure to deal with, She has fabulous sense of humor and makes it almost fun to sign your name 3,675 times. Seriously though, she explains everything and is very good at it. She also allows you to make the decision and does not pressure. Over all, I had an amazing experience at the dealership. As a side note, when I pulled into the parking lot, I parked in the wrong place, I was in the Mitsu...sales department. But, the most amazing young woman approached me and asked if she could help. I told her that I was meeting Jeremy. She graciously walked us over to Jeremy's desk but made sure to stop on the way to offer coffee, tea, coke, cookies, etc. And while we were satisfying our thirst, she went on to find Jeremy. And from there, it was a done deal! Thank you Jeremy, Sam and all the rest of the team to put my mom over the moon with her beautiful new Forester, I only have to worry about her driving now, not that the car will break down. Thank you for your patience and holding her dream car until she finally arrived in Wisconsin. More
I checked in for a 12,000 mile service check up. My Outback is a year old in May. I feel like "family " each time I go to Subaru City! I would definitely recommend buying your car at this dealership - you can't go wrong! More
Air Conditioner not working. I was so disappointed when I needed to use my air conditioner on my Sub Forester, it didn't work. My husband has a disability and gets livid when things don't work to his standards. `We went to Subaru City for help. Mandi Vonckx was very helpful, explaining to us a part was broken. Since we needed a car to drive until our car would be fixed, she arranged to have a car that we could use until ours is fixed. It also accommodated my husbands wheelchair, which was a real relief, he could also get in and out without any problems. We have our Subaru back, thank you. We really love it. In fact I have recommended to others in our Senior residence to buy a Subaru I know of one couple that did. Two years ago a car hit us, we lived! Mary Ann Sherman More

I had a not so great experience with a different Subaru dealer about a year ago and this experience was so pleasant in comparison. On my initial visit to correct the issue ( 4 weeks earlier), I was told they need to ord My second visit for a repair to the GPS system on my Outback. On my initial visit to correct the issue ( 4 weeks earlier), I was told they need to order a software pack and would contact me when it arrived. After 28 days I called them to get an update. After checking the person informed me it just arrived on the truck today (!?). I then scheduled an appointment and was told it would only take an hour. When I arrived the person thanked me for coming in for the emergency brake repair (!?) that was part of a recall (!?). I told him I didn't know what he was referring to about a recall but please fix that problem along with my GPS problem. He then told me it would be ready in an hour. After 90 minutes I checked to see what was the delay. He couldn't find my paperwork, when in to the shop and the reported that it would be done in 30 minutes and sorry for the delay. Finally, 2 3/4 hours later it was complete ( no car wash done because of the delay). When I started the car, it seemed to have a little trouble turning over. I didn't think much about it. Drove home and didn't use the car until the next morning. Went to start the car and it acted like the battery was dead!!!! I plugged in my battery charger, and started immediately. Let it run for 30 minutes and it has been fine since. Lastly, Sean, the service desk person seemed to be have a great deal of problems working your new iPad style system. More
