Mediocore detailing Brought my Forester in for full detailing. Very underwhelmed. Climbed into vehicle and first thing I noticed was streaked rearview mirror. Seats looked cleaner but not sure if any leather treatment was applied. I guess I expected a job similar to when I have a vehicle detailed at a car wash but not even close. The reason I keep coming back! I came in to replace my 2011 Subaru Outback with a newer model. That was on a Friday. I met with the sales people (Sarah and Adam) and went for a te I came in to replace my 2011 Subaru Outback with a newer model. That was on a Friday. I met with the sales people (Sarah and Adam) and went for a test drive in a 2017 Outback. Had a nice drive during which all my questions were fully answered. We then moved to price negotiation. The dealership was quick and upfront with discounts on the MSRP and also gave me an excellent price for my 2011 "trade-in". Pretty much a "pressure free" environment. Still, I wanted to check with other dealerships in the area. I chose two. The following day I paid them a visit. The experience was not the same. One came fairly close to Shlossman's offer, but was still "well short of the mark". The other took considerable haggling just to arrive at an "awful" deal, and then would not permit me to take their "proposal" home for further consideration. That pretty much did it. I drove to Shlossman's that afternoon and closed the deal. This will be my fifth Shlossman car! That sort of says it all. More

But the experiences I have had at Schlossman's Subaru City are so uniformly positive I am compelled to do so. This service visit was easy to schedule on the dealership website. I wanted to use the chat feature on the website but had difficulty doing so to move the visit to an earlier date. I could not use the chat feature (probably my error). Someone from Schlossman's IT department actually called me to assist (sorry I do not remember the gentleman's name). That was a pleasant surprise. I ultimately had to phone the service department (sorry I do not remember the gentleman's name). They were flexible and accommodated my service the next day, although on the website the service department was booked solid. Mandi Vonckx was my service rep. She greeted me with such a positive disposition. That was great, and representative of the disposition of everyone from the dealership I have met. She knows my car and my service record. That makes me confident the car is being well-maintained and will continue to be well-maintained. I know good consistent customer service is hard to achieve. Schlossman has achieved good customer service in a challenging industry. The technology deployed and the staff training is first rate. It is no doubt having a good impact on customer loyalty. I appreciate the experience. More
