My best car purchase experience EVER! I was looking for an SUV, and Subaru was at the top of my list of cars to look at. My salesperson, Kinkade, was polite, professional, and knowledgeab I was looking for an SUV, and Subaru was at the top of my list of cars to look at. My salesperson, Kinkade, was polite, professional, and knowledgeable. He showed me all the features, had me do a test drive, and did not drive me crazy with follow-up calls, but did not call within the time period I requested. I was so impressed with the car, the salesperson, and the sales manager that I saw no need to go and test drive many other cars, as I had previously planned to do. After test driving my 2nd choice, I was back to Subaru City in record time. So happy with my choice! More

The only gripe I have about the entire transaction was when I wanted to order some accessories. I found what I wanted via Schlossmann's Subaru City parts website the night before. When we were done with the deal, Tony walked me over to the parts department to order what I wanted. At the parts department, I was quoted a price that was $120.00 more than the website. When I asked about the disparity in price the parts employee indicated that "I would have to order them off the web then." Basically, I still do not have the accessories I was looking for. Upon our departure, your sales manager was kind enough thank us for our business and asked for feedback. I told him of our experience with the accessories order, but he also did not take any action to address the issue, except thank us for the feedback. It appears that there is a bit of a disconnect between sales and parts that could easily be rectified. I'd think that your sales staff should be empowered to address small issues such as these to really make the experience one of excellence. More
Amazing Service I called Eric/Service Department when all of the lights on my Subaru started flashing. He said bring the car in now and they'd take a look. Within 20 minutes, they had diagnosed the problem, ordered the part, scheduled the repairs and I was back on the road and made it to my doctor appointment on time. Now that is outstanding service! Great dealership for sales but service way to expensive. At 12,000 miles my wonderful Subaru was due for its 2nd oil change. They tried to sell me $175 service visit for oil/filter, cabin filter and brake i At 12,000 miles my wonderful Subaru was due for its 2nd oil change. They tried to sell me $175 service visit for oil/filter, cabin filter and brake inspection! Really at 12,000 miles. Jiffy lube here I come!!! Great dealership for sales but their service volume seems much less. Wonder why??!!! More
Frustrating experiences Brought in my new 2017 Subaru (with only 4000 miles) for an issue with water leaking onto the front passenger carpet. Called up the service department Brought in my new 2017 Subaru (with only 4000 miles) for an issue with water leaking onto the front passenger carpet. Called up the service department right away and was told to bring it in that night by 9pm and they could fix it on the spot. Great! So I took it there by 8pm, and was told by someone else that all the techs were busy, and to bring it back tomorrow and I would be able to get a loaner. Because again, 4000 miles on this vehicle. So the next day I got up extra early and arrived by 7:15 am to check in. I also asked if some trim pieces that keep coming off could be repaired, which is now the 3rd time I brought it in for that issue. They said there were no loaners available. When I asked about the free shuttle, I was told it was available but wouldn't be back for at least 30 minutes, which would make me very late for work. I decided to Uber it so I could get to work on time. Got a call mid-day that it was ready for pickup, and again inquired about the free shuttle service for a ride back. Well, that stops at 5:30 even though you can pick up your car for a few more hours. I don't finish work until 6pm, so I ended up having to take another Uber ride, which in total cost me around $48 with tip. They advertise this great shuttle service but it stops so early that it's useless for anyone who works past 5pm. When I picked up my car, the water issue was resolved, but the trim was still not fixed, so I guess it needs to go back in for a 4th time. Very frustrating. So far NOT a good experience. More

I had an idea of what car I wanted, but David was able to answer questions and provide different suggestions and options that I hadn't known or thought about previously. He explained different benefits and features, so I felt informed and assisted, but not pressured. When I made the final decision, I was confident I was getting exactly what I wanted at a fair price. It was a very positive experience from test drive to final paper signing. I highly recommend Schlossman Subaru and David Opanga. In fact, I have already recommended both to family and friends! More
