Best car buying experience of my life! After narrowing my choices down to two specific brands, I then sought the opinion of people I knew who had recently purchased similar new cars. I was After narrowing my choices down to two specific brands, I then sought the opinion of people I knew who had recently purchased similar new cars. I was referred to Schlossman's by a friend and her husband who had bought not one, but two, Subaru Outbacks within months of each other at Schlossman's. Even though, they had just purchased the two cars from the dealership and recommended a specific salesman, I remained skeptical because each car buying experience is unique to each person and a "good deal" for one, may not be a "good deal" for another. So, with research in hand, I set up a meeting with the dealership on a Saturday morning. Despite the fact that the weather conditions were less than desirable on that day, upon arrival, I was cheerfully greeted in the parking lot by a young man with an umbrella in hand. Hmmm, I thought, nice touch. The young man introduced me to my contact and the rest is as they say, "history." I test drove the Subaru Outback and decided that I liked the vehicle enough to consider buying it. In less than an hour we had agreed on an amount that I felt was fair and I decided to purchase the car. From start to finish, I felt respected as a customer, someone whose opinion mattered and whose specific needs could be met. I negotiated the car purchase without a lot of fuss and stress, which left me with a sense of accomplishment and a desire to recommend this dealership to anyone considering purchasing a Subaru. More

I had a question and when I was in for a car wash a few weeks ago one of the service advisors was easy accessible, reviewed my records and answered my question. This service went smoothly, on time and everything was explained well. You have an outstanding service department. My service advisor, Eric Schaffer, was excellent to work with, as usual. Do not always take first opinion This is somewhat difficult to review because I had two encounters with the same problem. On Wednesday I showed up at the dealer with my system showing This is somewhat difficult to review because I had two encounters with the same problem. On Wednesday I showed up at the dealer with my system showing low tire pressure. Service guy that came out checked, said just needed air, which he put in and said system lights should go out in less than a mile. They did, however, I stopped to get gas and happened to glance at tire and there in full view was a nail. I returned the next day, no one came out of the office to greet me, I previously had occasion to have stopped in the Subaru Dealer in Sarasota where on all three occasions someone was out to see how they could help within seconds of my entering the drive. I thought this was how all Subaru service areas worked. I stayed in my car for four or five minutes and no one came out. I went in and the young man was very pleasant, checked to see if they had the tire in stock, told me it would take 1.5 hours or so and directed me to the waiting area. 2.5 Hours later he came with the paperwork that it was done. I think an update at some point would have been helpful. Service was okay, not on a par with Sarasota More
