5000 mile service - oil and filter change I have been very pleased with Schomp Honda. I am driving my second CRV purchased at this dealership. Although I live in Aurora, I purchase and get my cars serviced at Schomp. The service department waiting area is lovely and the service associates are top notch. I recommend Schomp to all my friends and I would not take my car anywhere else for service. And, they even washed my car once the service was completed. They also have a great website that allows me to set up my own appointments. More
Top Notch Honda Service Department!! I went in to have my 2001 Honda Accord serviced and checked out - it has 231k+ miles. Worked with Tyler, who was helpful, and very up front about rep I went in to have my 2001 Honda Accord serviced and checked out - it has 231k+ miles. Worked with Tyler, who was helpful, and very up front about repairs that needed to be done or could wait. Got the service done promptly, and Tyler and the service tech that worked on my car were very helpful with some repair questions. Will definitely come back to Schomp service in the future! More
Two visits to new location - two disappointments One month ago, weekday morning, around 9:00 am - called to set up an appointment because the miles per gallon indicator was acting strangely, as in te One month ago, weekday morning, around 9:00 am - called to set up an appointment because the miles per gallon indicator was acting strangely, as in telling me I was getting 50 mpg. I was told on the phone I did not need an appointment, just come on in. I went in around 4:30 pm. It took 15 minutes for someone to acknowledge I was there and even then they went first to someone who came in later than I did. I was told that the mpg indicator behavior could easily be normal and if I wanted it checked I need to make an appointment, leave it all day, and if I needed arrange for a rental for the day. I left. Today - I had an appointment for the 5,000 mile oil change/check. I'm told it will take 1 - 1.25 hours. I'm shown to the customer waiting area (which they have done a totally awesome job with). At the two hour mark I go back to the service area, see my car waiting to be driven out. I find a sales rep, who very nicely and quickly takes me to someone in charge (thanks, Sandy!). I'm told the car had just gotten done. As to why it took so long - well, they were down 3-4 technicians. As to that appointment - that's really just a time to meet with the service rep, it is not a guarantee as to when they will take the car in and apparently they do not put appointment work ahead of walk ins. He could tell I was angry and comped the visit. But come on - apparently appointments don't mean anything. And couldn't someone have come to me at the 125 hour mark and tell me it was going to run long? Two hours for an appointment for a oil change. It seems to me that things ran a lot smoother at the old location because they had to, given the cramped quarters. Now that there is plenty of room, it is a different story. I loved this dealership. It pains me to write this. I want to leave the "would you recommend this service center" question unanswered, but it will not allow me to. Right now I'm on the fence on this question. I know they are better than this. I want to believe they are still working out the kinks from the move. Please have this worked out before the next time I have to come in. More
Great experience all around I went in to have my car serviced (routine) and took some time while waiting (only an hour and they quoted 2-it might have been the first time that an I went in to have my car serviced (routine) and took some time while waiting (only an hour and they quoted 2-it might have been the first time that anyone has every finished early) to look at some new cars. The young man that helped me was amazing, showing me cars and their features WITHOUT a hard sell. It was a nice change. Then when my car was finished the service rep went beyond the call of duty and had the detail shop remove a paint scrape (free of charge) that I had not been able to remove. It took all of 5 minutes but it was done with such a sense of urgency on his part that I was in awe. This is the kind of dealership and service shop that sets a good example of everything that we should except from the whole. It was my first visit and will be my "go to" place from now on. I am a thrilled customer and have every reason to believe that I always will be. When I am ready to purchase, I will not go anywhere else because of the respect that they showed me. More
