I had a wonderful experience at this dealership. I leased a Sienna Van and was able to get a payment that I felt I could afford. I worked with only two people, my salesperson, RG, and Glenn from the finance dept. They both were helpful, funny, relaxed and a pleasure to work with. I had spent the first part of the day at another Toyota Dealership and had to deal with no less than five different people. When you are spending this much money you want to be able to bond with and trust your salesperson. That is not happening when you are passed from one person to another. I will surely return to Scott Clark Toyota when I am ready to trade again. More

On Friday February 26, 2010, our 1999 Mercury Villager began acting very strange, prompting us to drop it off at our regular mechanic. As we considered the cost of the mounting repairs, we discussed whet began acting very strange, prompting us to drop it off at our regular mechanic. As we considered the cost of the mounting repairs, we discussed whether or not it would be best to buy a newer used van. That evening, as we searched the internet for advice on quality used minivans, we concluded that a 2004 Toyota Sienna would be our best option. In considering the need to trade in our current van, our search of the local area revealed that Scott Clark’s Toyota Scion had one. We submitted an information request to their website late that night and received a reply from Mike Black before 8am the following morning. Two more e-mails were sent that morning and each was replied to within a short time. One e-mail indicated that we would be in to see the van in the early afternoon. My wife, two young sons, and I all picked up our Villager and began the 70 mile drive to Scott Clark’s at 11:00am, stopping along the way to run a few brief errands and get lunch. The van began acting funny again, resulting in a two hour roadside stop. Then after managing another 8 miles along our journey, it died in a gas station parking lot. At that point, my family did three things. First we prayed. Then we called AAA to come tow the van to Scott Clark’s. Then we called Scott Clark’s to talk to Mike. As Mike was busy with a customer, we were introduced to Travis Wilson. After explaining our situation, and the fact that we would not all fit in the tow truck, I asked if they could work out a way to pick up my family. In today’s day and age, this is a request I expected to be denied. Travis however said he would check into what they could do and would call me back. I expected him to call back with the name of the local cab company, but instead he said he would be there to pick us up in about 10 minutes. When he arrived, he had brought the very 2004 Sienna we had been considering. He took my wife and boys to Scott Clark’s while I waited for the tow truck. I did not personally arrive at the dealership until after 7:00 pm. When I arrived, my boys were contentedly watching a Disney film in Scott Clark’s child area and my wife explained how wonderfully they had been treated. I asked her what they thought of the van. She said the boys loved it and after her test drive she felt it would be a good vehicle for us. At that point, my father arrived to watch the boys. When we sat down with Mike Black, it was about 7:15 pm. Their first price was not unreasonable, but it did not fit our budget. We talked things over, prayed again, and due to the time of the evening, told them directly what we could afford. They accepted our offer at about 7:35 pm. The next half hour or so is kind of a blur, but it should be noted that I wrote the check for that van having never seen the inside of it. Despite their closing time of 8:00, we never felt rushed, and we didn’t really leave until around 8:30. At that time we met Devon Thomas who pleasantly delivered the vehicle to us. My test drive was the ride home. Since that day, we have been called by both Mike and Travis asking how things are going with the van and have received e-mail contacts about scheduling our first service. We have never had a car buying experience like this before. We were all treated well and with respect, even when our trade-in arrived on a flat bed tow truck. When I need another vehicle, the first dealer I will consider is Scott Clark’s Toyota Scion. More
From start to finish everything went well. The appearance of sincerity when listening to me tell what I wanted was important and received by me. I will shop with Scott Clark Toyota again in the f appearance of sincerity when listening to me tell what I wanted was important and received by me. His knowledge with the car was very impressive so that we decided on his recommendation of this car. Paperwork was long, but Todd handled everything clearly and pleasantly. (We realize the length was not his doing). Even Shelby was pleasant to deal with in the transfer of the car. We are looking forward to our service appointments in hopes that it will be the same. After hearing Scott Clark on radio with "Bob and Sheri" and seeing him on television, we thought we would give the dealership our time. We were glad we did. More
Great overall experience. Very friendly and helpful staff all around. Not pushy and willing to work around my needs. They made sure that I understood all of the paperwork and were willing to answer a staff all around. Not pushy and willing to work around my needs. I would recommend them to anyone looking to buy a Toyota. More
Greg Zmirak, sales person, was very straight forward with my recent trade-in on a 2010 Tacoma, January 25, 2010. We told him that we would be in the market for two replacement cars, that were leased, and the leases would be up May and August. I called him on Monday, March 8, 2010 to see what deals are available on a Corolla S, and a Camary LE. I was going to replace my daughter's car on Saturday, March 13, 2010, for sure, and my wife had seen a Camary with a color that she liked. Greg called me numerous times, keeping me informed on the price, options, etc. He knew that we had two Hondas [2006 Civic Ex, and 2007 Accord Ex] and that the Honda dealers were working for us to deal with them. On Friday, March 12, 2010, I called Greg to say that we were coming there, first, to let my daughter see, and drive the Corolla S that he had found for her. We arrived, at 6:00 p.m., saw, test drove the car, and was very satisfied with the lease financing deal. He had also arranged for a Camary LE for my wife to drive. They were impressed with the ride, color, and accessories, and I was very satisfied with the lease financing/trade. We leased both cars, but it caused the staff to stay very late. We left at 12:05 a.m. tired, but very happy with the leases, and very pleased with the way Greg Zmirak, and Robby Pryor, worked to get the lease financing arrangements to work. I can't say enough about their treatment of me, and my family. They told me what they could do, and exceeded it! It was the most pleasing car buying/lease that I have ever experienced! AND, I will go to them again, when we are going to replace these vehicles. I have recommended Scott Clark Toyota to all my friends, and staff, who will listen. We are now back in the Toyota family. I was driving a Toyota, in 1975, when I met the girl, that has been my wife for 33 years. We trust Toyota, and now have a dealership, with staff, that we can trust also! More
I must start by saying the experience my wife and I had with Scott Clark's Toyota Scion far exceeded my expectations in every step during purchasing a new vehicle from the time my wife test drove the vehic with Scott Clark's Toyota Scion far exceeded my expectations in every step during purchasing a new vehicle from the time my wife test drove the vehicle until we drove out of the dealership two weeks later. I had several phone conversations during a period of two weeks with George Athens, Sales consultant, discussing and finalizing the purchase of the new vehicle. He did an outstanding job providing information, responses to my questions and providing pricing request in a timely and professional manner. He is a very knowledgeable sales consultant with excellent communication and listening skills. This new vehicle purchase was agreed upon verbally in part because the location of the dealership is 4 hours from my home. No doubt George is the main reason we were able to make this purchase. When I finally met George at the dealership to close the deal, I was totally amazed at how organized, efficient and helpful the entire staff of Scott Clark's Toyota Scion were and operated. I have purchased vehicles over a period of 35 years and I must say this dealership is in a class of their own. No doubt my 1st stop on my next purchase will be at Scott Clark's. The distance does not matter when you receive the outstanding professional support that they provided my wife and I. Best Regards, Charles More
UPDATED POST DEALER RESPONSE: At the end of January 2010, we dealt with Frank Bertuglia in the purchase of a 2010 Toyota 4Runner Limited and added on several items including a DVD player. The dealership "pro we dealt with Frank Bertuglia in the purchase of a 2010 Toyota 4Runner Limited and added on several items including a DVD player. The dealership "promised" they would schedule an appointment to install the add-on merchandise to the vehicle once it was received from Toyota and that they would follow up with us within a week of the purchase. Since the purchase, we have made multiple calls to the sales person (Frank) to get a status update. The communication with the dealership has been one way, with no follow up from sales or service until our original post to Dealrater.com on 3/13/10. On the third or fourth phone call to Frank, he passed me on to his manager Jim Cline, who again assured me he would check with Toyota about the DVD player and call me back. Jim did not live up to his end of the bargain as we received no follow up phone call. When I called Jim on 3/13/10 he told me he thought the issue had been dealt with and had thrown my phone number away. That response from Jim and what seemed to be a lack of caring about the customer led me to Dealrater.com. I made an original post about the issues we have had with Scott Clarks and our feelings that that they are only concerned with getting the sale done, but the follow up promises to the customer are not important. It took this negative post to get a real response from the dealership. We have been contacted by Chris Cady, Managing Partner (almost immediately after the initial post) with Scott Clarks which does tell me that the senior management cares about its perception and customers. We are now in the process of obtaining resolution of our issue. The final resolution will drive my final review of the dealership and its true character. My hope is it will be a positive one as I am locked into a service contract with the dealership for the first 100,000 miles of my car's existence, thus I will have more interaction with Scott Clarks. CONCLUSION TO OUR ISSUE: Chris Cady, the Managing Partner, lived up to his word and took care of the installation of the DVD player. He also took the time to research the communication issue we experienced with the dealership. He also took steps to ensure things like this will not fall through the cracks for future customers when add on items can't be delivered in a timely manner. We are ultimately satisfied with the resolution with our issue and would deal with Scott Clarks on a future purchase. More
Lance changed my perception of Car dealerships! I communicated with Lance via phone and email to let him know what I was looking for and what I DID NOT want to experience once a deal was made. Lance communicated with Lance via phone and email to let him know what I was looking for and what I DID NOT want to experience once a deal was made. Lance listened very well and met my needs perfectly without any surprises! Lance was also very professional and paid equal attention to my wife and children during our visit to the dealership. I have purchased and leased several vehicles (average 1 every 3 years over the last 25 years) and I can honestly say that I am still chocked by the fact that I did not have to seat in 3+ offices and speak with 3+ people with the infamous question of "how much can you afford monthly?". This dealership (or at least Lance Black) gets it! He listened, took notes and responded accordingly. More
