Very personal, very friendly, very open to listening to our needs, not just trying to sell us what they had. I suggest they work with the reception desk folks, who did not seem to have the same commitment our needs, not just trying to sell us what they had. During that time, I have dealt with quite a few car salesman dickering back and forth, trying to get the best trade that I could. Most of these experiences did not turn out to well, until I went to Scott Clark's Toyota in Charlotte,N.C. No other dealership has treated me and my wife more nicely. Mr. Robbie Cook was the first salesman that took great care of us in showing us the Toyota Highlander Limited in all respects, and taking us for a ride and drive. Later on, Mr. Marty Abernathhy was called in on the negotiations of making the trade. We three finally came to a satisfactory deal with both parties. On December 23,2009 I took possession of a 2010 Toyota Highlander Limited. Before I drove off the lot, Mr. Cook,Mr.Abernathy and another gentleman all showed me and my wife how all of the buttons, whistles and gadgets operated. That took almost an hour, and all of them were real patient, in working with us. To those of you that are seeking to trade or buy a new vehicle, I highly recommend Scott Clark in Charlotte. You will be greeted with a lot of respect in meeting your desires for the vehicle you are looking for. Please ask for Mr. Robbie Cook or Mr. Marty Abernathy personally. They'll treat you with the respect you deserve. Herman F. Walker Lowell,N.C. More
Curtis was very attentive to my requests. He was honest and straightforward during the negotiations and about my option. I didn't know feel pressure to buy a new car for his benefit alone. I felt he was in and straightforward during the negotiations and about my option. I didn't know feel pressure to buy a new car for his benefit alone. I felt he was intuned to my objectives and wants for the visit. In turn I left the dealership with my objectives met and with the car I wanted at a reasonable price. More

Our experience at Scott Clark had 2 very distinct levels: (1) excellent with the salesman and (2) horible and extremely frustrating with the Sales "Manager". The former was a true pro, knew his product, neve (1) excellent with the salesman and (2) horible and extremely frustrating with the Sales "Manager". The former was a true pro, knew his product, never had the hint of "rush" or "buy now" and did an overall superb job. However, Jimmy ____ the Sales Manager was COMPLETELY different. After spending several hours with the salesman and ultimately deciding on what car we wanted, we were provided a price (although before any negotiation) but because it was dark outside, we stated that we'd be back the next day because (1) my wife does not drive after dark so she could not test drive it (the car was for her)and (2) we wanted to see the mint green color in the day light. As apparently required, the salesman advised the Sales Manager to that effect and then, without any request on our part, the manager came over, sat down AND DRILLED US FOR 20 +/- MINUTES without mercy despite explaining repeatedly about my wife's medical condition and desire to see the car in day light. He could not care less!! All he could do is hammer away over and over with the old "what can I do to close the deal tonight" because - ostensibly- his group had a deadline THAT NIGHT in order to win a financial award ....blah, blah, blah. Yes. he did lower the price somewhat, and wore4 us down to the point we took the vehicle home that night with the option to return it the next day for any reason. And, as it turned out, there in fact was a legitamate resson we did NOT accept that car and ultimately turned it in but purchased a simialr one from Scott Clark Toyota at th eend of the week (but not because of any additional concessions but just that the so-called Sales "Manager" was not involved in any manner whatsoever. It was an exhausting, pathetic experience and as such we will NEVER do business at Scott Clark Toyota IF that particular individual is any where near my face. Period. Everyone else at the dealership is absolutely first class and a pleasure to do business with. The new facility is truly state of the art and our Camry is fantastic. I would hihly recommend that greg Z. be considered for anyone's vehicle purchasing needs. More

I first visited Scott Clark to check out the Facility itself, and this place is impressive! I went in to check out the Tundra's, not quite sure of what I was looking for. My first sales contact here was itself, and this place is impressive! I went in to check out the Tundra's, not quite sure of what I was looking for. My first sales contact here was with Lance over the Internet, and later Travis in the showroom. Everything here is top notch, from the gated entrances to the Service and Waiting Areas. I mainly dealt with Travis, who was very patient and friendly. I am very picky, and this was first time checking the Tundra's out, yet he was very informative and helpful the whole experience. He didnt mind me taking 3 trips to the dealership, many phone calls, or test drives and spent more time on my sale than I'd expect at a dealership this massive. Lance was also always there to assist when needed and also seemed to be very honest. I worked at a car dealership over a year(not sales) and have previously bought a new vehicle, and can say these guys are here to sell you a car. There is always a certain amount of pressure within sales or at a car dealership, its just the nature OTB, however it wasnt too much to push you away. Overall, 5 out of 5, I bought a new Tundra and did feel the warm and fuzzies when leaving, despite the 30 degree weather. Oh yea, Peter was awesome in Finance as well, made the paperwork as painless as possible. If you are in the Charlotte area looking for a Toyota, make this your 1st and primary spot as they have the Inventory, great sales staff, and will make you a great deal! See Travis Wilson! More

As we exited our current car we were greeted by Curtis Lanier whom introduced himself to my wife and i. He helped us find the vehicle that we came to view. He pulled the vehicle out of detail and was showing us the vehicle in a very professional mannor when another one of his customers came in to pick up their new vehicle. He explained in a very curtious way that his delivery was there and he introduced us to Steven Carlton who did the test drive with me. Steven was just as curtious and respectful of my needs and concerns as Curtis had been. He listened to my questions and answered them honestly. He did ask for my business and i told him my wife and i had promised a man selling a vehicle on autotrader.com that i would see his vehicle at 3:00 that same day. He asked me if he could introduce me to his pre owned manager (Stephen Pecha). Mr. Pecha asked about my visit and what i thought of their vehicle. I did have a couple of concerns i expressed about the car i drove. He said they could and would take care of the issues. The three employee's we had met had really impressed my wife and i. As we left the dealership Curtis Lanier ran out the door to thank us for visiting the dealership and said he was very sorry he had to turn us to his co-worker Steven Carlton but hoped our visit was plesant. My wife said to me as we left the dealership that the car we were going to view at 3:00 better be alot nicer than the car we looked at Scott Clark because we were so impressed with the professional and courtious manor we were treated. Needless to say we did buy from Scott Clark. Everything promised was delivered and even The GSM Jim Cline came out to thank us. I would recommend all my friends to these guys and I would buy from them agian. More
