What an indescribably great experience -- my husband and I went in as first-time car buyers, and were extremely trepidatious, given previous issues with dealers when we leased years back. Derron stuck with us throughout a difficult period where both my husband and I lost our IDs (delaying the process for a few weeks), and was always engaged and always empathetic. We got a good vibe from him from our first interaction, and over the month we've worked with him, he's exceeded every expectation we could dream of. He tracked down the model/trim/color of the EXACT car we wanted, was completely transparent with regard to pricing, jumped through hoops to get us our car, and when we went in tonight to take delivery (he stayed late to accommodate my husband and my work schedules -- he's literally a saint), we were in and out in 30 minutes! He has a wonderful personality, is very funny and extremely positive, and made the process nothing short of an absolute pleasure -- I would recommend him to ANYONE interested in purchasing a Honda -- it's a shame we won't be able to buy another car from him for awhile, he's just that great. I was in the market for a new car, so I ran a Google search to see what some of the dealerships were like nearby. Scott Honda stood out as being one of the highest rated Honda dealerships, so I paid the search to see what some of the dealerships were like nearby. Scott Honda stood out as being one of the highest rated Honda dealerships, so I paid them a visit despite being an hour away from where I live. I'm glad I did... Let me start off by saying that this isn't your stereotypical dealership where the sales team pressures you to buy a car and throw add-ons you don't want. My salesman Jeff was very friendly and patient with me in getting me exactly what I wanted. They unfortunately didn't have the color Civic Hatchback Sport I wanted in stock when I walked in, but Jeff was able to pull some strings to get a new one delivered within 2 weeks! When it came in I was stunned by the gorgeous Sonic Gray color. The entire transaction from start to finish was fast and headache-free. Jeff made sure I was comfortable with the car's features before letting me drive it off the lot. Rob was also very friendly and fully transparent about the financial part of the sale. My wife started corresponding with Bill at Scott Honda a few weeks before we started to look at cars in person. The whole experience was very low pressure, and he treated us with courtesy and respect the whole time. I was particularly impressed that he treated my wife with just as much respect as he treated me. This should be a given, but this has NOT been our experience at other dealerships. He followed up on every request we had while we were there in person and allowed us to talk things over privately when desired. We purchased a car on our second visit, and my wife and I are both really happy with the car and the sales experience. I am so impressed by this experience that I will like make the 1.5 hour drive back to Scott Honda the next time I need a car. I give Bill my highest recommendation! More
