Scott Kia is committed to thoughtful customer service, and our team cares about the experience you have with us when shopping for your next vehicle. We understand the frustrations regarding the registration of your vehicle and that is why we'd hoped to mitigate some of that by having Hassan personally drive you to the DMV in an effort to help resolve it. Please know, it was certainly not a matter of our preference but we are beholden to regulations put forth by the states for vehicle registration. We've also confirmed that the vehicle you received and the vehicle listed on your signed purchase agreement are one and the same. We acknowledge that it was our job to make that clear to you, and regret leaving any room for misunderstanding that led you to believe otherwise. Our records also indicate that we did provide a second key for the vehicle at no charge to you back in September, as a good will gesture for your experience.

It was switch and bait, plain and simple. Of course, the paperwork has the VIN number of the 11k car and not the 12k I purchased. Since, I had to wait 2 days to get the car after I paid my deposit. I asked Hassan for a second key and he advised that I would need to pay $35 for it. When the water line backed up and my car was flooded I came back to the dealership I asked for another key - I was told by Dave that since I stated, when asked if I was going to buy another car from Scott, I said probably not, he told me why would we give the key? He finally spoke to someone and I was given the key. The fact remains THAT I WAS GIVEN the wrong CAR. THE FACT that you refused to give me the car for 2 days because I didn’t have a PA license was BS. Hassan knows HE SWITCHED the car. He KNEW I wanted the 12k car with the cruise control etc. I DID NOT THINK I had to document the VIN number etc. Your response is insulting. Do you really believe that giving me a second VALET key, which I should have received without asking for it, is a gesture of goodwill? Every car I have EVER bought had 2 keys. The car was eventually tagged in Delaware as I asked from the beginning so the REAL QUESTION is this WHY DID HASSAN have to take me to the PA DMV at the spur of the moment, where I had no required documentation? Why did the DEALERSHIP refuse to give me the car after I signed the paperwork and paid my, almost 50% down payment during the height of the pandemic knowing I did not nor could I get the paperwork need my the PA DMV? And after all this UNNECESSARY BS, the car WAS REGISTERED in Delaware AS I ORIGINALLY REQUESTED NUMEROUS TIMES? If your dealership would really was interested in customer satisfaction you should either reimburse the $1000 I overpaid because I WAS GIVEN the wrong CAR or have Manley install the cruise control and rear camera THAT I paid for.
