I came in this morning for A1 service on my Honda Pilot. I have been coming to this dealership ever since I purchased my Pilot two years ago. Even though they are expensive, I felt that it was worth it for I have been coming to this dealership ever since I purchased my Pilot two years ago. Even though they are expensive, I felt that it was worth it for the peace of mind of going to a dealership. Unfortunately, after this morning, I will never step foot there ever again. I feel that they are totally unresponsive to customers' time and money. They have absolutely no respect, in my opinion, for their customers. I came in for A1 service -- which is just an oil change - I was charged ALSO for tire rotation -- which i did not ask for. In addition, I waited for over 2.5 hours for my car. I do not think that it takes 2.5 hours for an oil change. However, I feel lucky to have gotten out of there in 2.5 hours -- since the only reason I was able to get my car out that "quickly" was because I complained to the woman at the service desk after about 2 hours. At about 11am Mr. Diaz came into the lounge where I had been waiting all morning -- and he told me that I need a new battery and new brakes. I told him that I need the car ASAP because I didn't have any more time today to wait. He said okay and left. I saw that my car was still up with all of the tires removed. I demanded to have my car back. I waited for another 30 minutes. To add insult to injury -- I even had to pay for the tire rotation -- which I didn't ask for. I will never go back to this place and I am telling all of my fellow mommy friends who own hondas in the south bay to find a reputable honda service provider -- which means NOT scott robinson. I am sure that there are other places that can provide you with respectful service and an oil change FOR LESS THAN $51.40 (which is what they charged me) in under 2.5 hours. More
Lyle is very friendly and knowledgeable. He also give accurate information and his service is always quick and reliable. I also reccomend him to all my friends and family. Over the course of my 7-year Honda ownership, I've alternated between service centers in the South Bay area and have never had a horrible experience. However, I've been recently taking my Civic to the Scott Robinson service center in Torrance because of the excellent customer service I receive from Lyle. The reason for my most recent visit was because the air in my car suddenly stopped working. I immediately contacted Lyle, who knowledgeably explained what might be wrong with my car and scheduled me for an appointment right away. I was able to bring it in within a few days, and a couple hours later my car was ready to be picked up, with a fully-functional air system. It didn't cost me as much as I had anticipated, which ultimately led to an overall wonderful experience. I definitely recommend other Honda owners to utilize the Scott Robinson Service Center and go through Lyle! More
Nikos is the reason I bought my new CR-V from this dealership. The first night I went to test drive the car, I told him I wasn't ready to buy anything and he spent so much time with me, answering my dealership. He was so friendly and knowledgable and answered all my questions without pressuring me once to buy a car. The second time I went back he was the same way. He's the best. Throughout the entire process I felt really taken care of. They stayed open for me way past their closing time to help me sort out financing options until I felt comfortable and ready to make my decision to buy this car. I feel like I can return to them for anything I need and ask any questions I might have and they will continue to take care of me in the future. It's a great dealership, everyone was professional and helpful and you get to hit a gong when you are through! Plus there's an article on the wall about how their dealership helped take apart one man's Honda for free in order to rescue a kitten that got stuck in the dashboard. What else can I say? :)I loved this dealership and I love my new car! :) Thanks guys! More
I was referred to this dealership from a close friend saying the staff here were awesome and they would do their best to get me in a Honda Ridgeline (Even with the credit score I had). I requested an internet quote via the Honda website. Scott Robinson was the only dealer to actually give me a "REAL" quote via the internet. All of the other Honda dealers quoted me MSRP and gave me the Scott Robinson was the only dealer to actually give me a "REAL" quote via the internet. All of the other Honda dealers quoted me MSRP and gave me the high pressure sale pitch to come in to talk a deal. Problem was, I was in another state on business and wasn't going to buy a car until I returned to California, late in 2009. When I finally came back to California (in September), I spoke Jennifer Dikilato and arranged to go in and look at a car, there was absolutely no pressure. They did not have exactly what I wanted, and I ended up saying I was putting off buying a car until after the first of 2010. Jennifer asked if it was OK to contact me after the beginning of the year and I agreed. Jennifer remembered me and shot me an e-mail after the beginning of the year. She asked if I was still looking for a car. I asked her what they had and went in and took a look after we talked a deal. I liked the car and decided to buy it one week later. Most of my dealing with Jennifer was via e-mail. I did my home work and explained to Jennifer what I was willing to pay. I ended up getting a SWEET deal, a price I would never be able to get anywhere else. I had looked up invoice, so I knew what the car sold for. I went in, test drove the car, paid for it. Right after, I had it taken into the service department to have a Lojack installed. I picked it up later that day. It was the best car purchase experience I have ever had. I also ordered some other extras which I had put in a week later. My experience with having the parts installed was great. Fast friendly service. I was treated very well. These guys know what customer service is! I will buy my next car there! More

I brought my car in because something was not right with the transmission. I had a 2001 Odyssey Minivan. Since I had serviced my cars before with Lyle, I called the service department and made an appointm the transmission. I had a 2001 Odyssey Minivan. When I got there, Lyle was very helpful (as I remembered him being in the past) and quickly determined that I needed a new transmission. He worked out a fair price and told me that he would order the parts. When the parts arrived, we set a date and fixed the car. Overall experience was excellent. My car was fixed at a fair price with great customer service! More
I had a brake problem and had to be towed.My AAA covers only 7 miles after that the cost is $9. per miles. Scott Robinson is 16.5 miles from my home. After fixing the brake problem on 9-28-09, the problem I had occurred again on 10-17-09.I went back to the station they said they would not help me the manager from the service dept was the one. All I said was that the problem had recurred, please check it. To make a long story short he said that they would not help me/ I always for 10 years have dealt with Mr. Chan or his sons Lucas & Zachery...they are wonderful..always explain what has to be done and why. Well, today both Lucas and Zachery were off. I had the good fortune to get Janelle...she too was very helpful. She had them check to see that the brakes were done properly. I had paid the gas station $660. to the repairs. I NOW FEEL Comfortable that the job was done.if Scott Robinspn says they are fine..I believe them.
