I drove the car for more than 6 months with a check engine light on. They finally scheduled the replacement, but called during it to say I needed other work totaling more than $1000. Due to previous experience with this service dept., I didn’t trust this information and will check with my mechanic. So the three stars are for Jonathan. He deserves more, but then you may not read my comments if you saw 5. More
Poor skills bad service I put my vehicle in for service after I determined what was wrong and that the repair was above my ability and tools needed. I brought vehicle in day before so they would have plenty of time as I estimated it to be 6 hours max I also in detail explained what I wanted done and how I came to determine the part I wanted replaced was bad. They said they will trouble shoot it and get back to me. End of next day they get back and say its another part I disagreed and they said they tested part I said was bad and it’s good and they see a leak on another part and it’s what’s bad I say odd I am meticulous and have no spots on my garage floor or when I was under vehicle. reluctantly agreed to go ahead with the fix. Day two they said need more time I end up getting vehicle morning of day 3 and they tell me it’s still got issues. I take vehicle and no different after $2400, reschedule to get it back in. When it goes in I again drop off the day before in hopes to speed up the process next day they recheck the part I told them was bad and now they agree it’s bad and try and tell me it must have just gone bad. Now lose another day to order part then another day delay then day 2.5 vehicle ready and no labor charge but I have to pay for new pump part even though I already paid for other part plus huge labor. All in all never using them again backyard mechanics and crooked staff More

This last visit was different, I was told my car would be ready in one hour-two and one half hours later I was still waiting for my oil change and tire rotation to be completed. I saw my car being pulled into the wash bay and twenty minutes later I had to ask where it was-I was told that the the hi I Ian had gone to lunch. There is a difference in the service department that I was unhappy with. More

Each every time I have brought my cars in for service I am always treat I have been a loyal customer of Scranton Motors Service for the past 08 years. Each every time I have brought my cars in for service I am always treated very well and given a thorough report and explanation as to why my car is having whatever issue that it is. The service department has never made or even recommended any unnecessary repairs just to make an extra dollar or two. The Service Dept Staff are very friendly and professional at what they do. Beverly in particular is Outstanding and is always a pleasure to do business with. She is truly a Valuable Asset of the Service Dept. The Check Engine Light issue was quickly diagnosed and resolved. I probably spent no more than 02 hours from the time I entered the Service Dept until I exited the bay area. Please keep up the great work... Thank You. More
