Previously I owned a 2006 Ford Focus that was in rough shape and always needed work. Last week I decided that I had had enough with fixing the thing over and over only to have something else go wrong. I had only ever bought cars from private owners and for once I wanted to know exactly what I was going to be sinking money into before I made the purchase. Long story short, my friend has a Mazda 3 that she loves so I decided to try to find one that I could afford. Seacoast Mazda was the only dealership in the area that specializes in Mazdas and also offers Buy Here, Pay Here (which I needed since I had no previous buyers credit). I made the hour long drive up there after work one night last week in a rain storm. I was alone and I had no idea what to expect. When I walked in I was greeted immediately and pointed in the direction of Stuart LaFramboise, who helped me fill out the application and asked me some simple questions. He was able to answer all of my questions and worked with me to figure out exactly what I was looking for. Originally I was interest in a 2013 Mazda 2 Touring that I saw online. But Rob at the sales counter explained to me that he didn't think that would be a good purchase for me for one reason or another, and that I should look into the 2013 Mazda 3 i Sport, which only had a few more miles on it than the Touring and actually got better gas milage, had MUCH better interior and features, AND THE PRICE WAS LESS EXPENSIVE. WOW! Now tell me what kind of dealership does something like this??? I felt that I was being pointed toward a car that was absolutely perfect for me rather than just pressured into something that might not be as good of a fit but profit wise would be better for them. Stuart brought me out to look at a car he thought I would be interested in (Mazda 3), told me everything I needed to know about it, and took me for a test drive. I was in love. I went home that night after test driving the one car (the one I ended up buying) and thought to myself "that seemed way too easy and painless"...so I found this website and saw that they had 5 stars with almost 600 reviews! And after reading through them I knew this was where I was going to buy my new car. Two days later I made my way back to Seacoast Mazda and bought the preowned 2013 Mazda 3 i Sport. While I did the paperwork (which they made so easy it had me thinking "what's the catch?"), they detailed the car for me, filled up the gas tank, and put on my new inspection sticker and 20 day plates. The whole process wasn't just easy, it was fun and exciting and everyone in the place congratulated me and thanked me. I have never made such a huge purchase and felt so good about it EVER. There is so much more I could say about my experience at this dealership but I won't bore you all with that, but I will say that I got a lot more included in my purchase than just my new car. I will MOST DEFINITELY be coming back to Seacoast Mazda for my future cars and I have been telling everyone I know in detail how much I loved the place and my new car!!! More

We received a letter in the mail about a key for key trade with our Mazda-5 and we have out grown this car, and have been looking to trade it in. We walked into the dealership knowing that we wanted to compare a CX-5 to a CX-7 which Ryan and Rob made sure that we looked at both cars side by side to make sure that our daughters would have plenty of leg room, text drove the CX-7 and loved it, there was no pressure from the sales department to buy either car, and knowing that our credit is not perfect I was a bit worried that I would have to walk out of the dealership with my head down and without a car, but instead my husband and I walked out feeling great as we not only got approved for the car, but our payments dropped and so did our insurance premiums, which is simply amazing. I would recommend this Dealership to anyone looking to buy a new or used car. I will return time and time again, they really make you feel like part of the family!! Thank you all so much More

Our First Non-Stressful Car Purchase Ever In our 40 years together my husband and I have bought 10 cars for ourselves and our daughter, Half of them were new. Varying levels of stress accomp In our 40 years together my husband and I have bought 10 cars for ourselves and our daughter, Half of them were new. Varying levels of stress accompanied each transaction, regardless of whether the car was new or used. Sometimes the sales pressure was so strong, all we wanted to do was flee the dealership, no matter how good the deal was. So when we walked into Seacoast Mazda two days ago -- our first experience with the Mazda brand and this dealership -- we were prepared for more of the same. But Rob Hering completely disarmed us. Based on our research, we had planned to buy a new Mazda 6 Sport, which Rob knew beforehand through an email we had sent. However, a few other models we saw in the showroom also sparked our interest. Before long our original plan wasn't so definite any more as we weighed the pros and cons of other models. Rob remained easy going, never exerting even the slightest pressure. What's more, he had a sense of humor. He assured us he'd seen customers come in planning to get a new sedan or SUV-like model and end up buying something completely different, even a used truck. In fact, he said, we might be interested in a pre-owned Mazda 6 Touring model (one level above the Sport) with low mileage that had come into the lot a few days earlier. (Now what car salesperson, knowing a customer is prepared to buy a new car, would pass up the chance of getting that commission by mentioning the possibility of a used car?) Rob had us test drive a new Mazda 6 Sport and the pre-owned model on the highway, side streets and a bumpy road so we could get a sense of the handling and suspension on various types of roads. Two hours passed, and we still hadn't made a decision. We took a break for lunch to talk it over. When we returned to the dealership, we discussed prices ... and hybrids and why Mazda had decided not to manufacture one ... and a drawing hanging on the wall behind Rob's desk that had been done by another sales associate at Seacoast Mazda, a trained graphic artist who described how he stays connected to the art world by doing illustrations for websites and a comic book series and occasionally showing his work in New York galleries. These are bright guys who can engage in substantive conversation other than just a memorized sales rep script. That's an important quality when it comes to assessing their responses to questions and comments about the vehicles they are selling. Ultimately, after four hours (!) at Seacoast Mazda, we bought the pre-owned Mazda 6 Touring model. It has features that are important to us -- rear view video cam, adjustable lumbar support in driver's seat, a coating on the steering wheel that makes it easier to grip, and touch screen audio -- that aren't available as standard equipment in the new Mazda 6 Sport model, all for a lower purchase price. In the process, in addition to the sales associates we dealt with, we met and chatted with the owner, the finance manager, and the service manager. They all displayed a courteousness that felt genuine and unrehearsed. An atmosphere of collegiality and mutual respect pervades the business, from owner to management to sales staff. This can't help but translate into the quality of the work done there. As my husband and I left the dealership, we turned to each and almost simultaneously said, "That was FUN!" We will enthusiastically recommend Seacoast Mazda to anyone we know who's planning to shop for a car. More
Great experience at Seacoast Mazda Last Friday I purchased my first new car. I have to admit, I was full of anxiety at the thought of the whole process. That anxiety disappeared Last Friday I purchased my first new car. I have to admit, I was full of anxiety at the thought of the whole process. That anxiety disappeared in short order after meeting James at Seacoast Mazda. He presented options within my price range, set me at ease, and professionally brought me through all the steps of the purchase. I wish every buying experience could be this pleasant. Thank you, James. I hope I have the opportunity to recommend you to a family member or friend real soon. Great job! Zachariah, Dover, NH More
