Misleading Pricing - Excessive Service I was told $550 for the 30k service. It ran $650. I was told $61 for a minor repair. It ran $104. I was told $10% military discount. They gave a $40 discount (not percentage based at all; about 6%). Their "standard 30k service" includes a lot of unnecessary work that isn't on the Subaru recommended 30k maintenance and it wasn't clear all the extras they were tacking on until after the maintenance was over. Tell them exactly what you want and don't believe the prices they tell you. More

Like the ability to drive into the reception bay to check in. Only possible thought I have for improvement is architectural: given that this is a new and spacious facility, the remote and isolated location of the waiting area is uncomfortable, despite the relative quality of the spaces. I had two vehicles serviced, a 2010 Forester and a 2018 Outback; neither had been purchased at Secor, so my "price" comments below are somewhat slanted, especially since, to date, all repairs have been under warrantee. Friendly but they didn't do what they said they'd done I went in for oil change and tire rotation, told Jay at the desk that my pressure tire warning light was on. When they told me they'd finished, the r I went in for oil change and tire rotation, told Jay at the desk that my pressure tire warning light was on. When they told me they'd finished, the receipt noted that the tires had 35psi each in them. As I drove away my warning light was still on, so I returned. Jay told me I just needed to drive a bit, so I did. The light never shut off. Got home and they were 30 psi. My husband filled the tires and then the warning light went off. So Jay couldn't be nicer or more polite, but something isn't right, and really, if my husband didn't know what he was doing I'd have been stuck. Also the sticker with the date and mileage for next oil change is wrong: the date is in the future, but the mileage written down is one that we've already passed, so I have no idea when I need to return for another service. (I'll look it up, but the sticker should tell me.) Kind of frustrated that we paid $114 for this. We called; the manager returned our call once and we missed him; we called back again and he wasn't in. We left a voicemail and now we're done. More

They had the parts in stock and were able to replace them and also perform my next service maintenance the same day. But please be aware if you have extended warranty to let them know up front. Subaru Company has this in a separate program and does not flag in their normal order taking program. Not the dealers fault, it is Subaru Company that needs to fix that.. More

I had a torque converter recall last year and service department loaned me a 2017 Outlook wagon. As I was leaving the service rep at Secor said, we think you're going to love it so much you'll come back and buy a new one. I owned a 2012 Outback that I loved so I thought, there is no way I am going to buy a new one. Well I did and I love it. Please note the time this was written. 11 am. This not one of the glowing or angry two glasses of wine late evening emails that businesses sometimes get Thank you, Larry More
Poor Communication The experience itself wasn't awful but the workmanship & communication is poor. I brought my car in 3 times for the same problem & after speaking with The experience itself wasn't awful but the workmanship & communication is poor. I brought my car in 3 times for the same problem & after speaking with the service manager about my concerns all he did was patronize me about the age of my car & where we live in New England. When I drove out of the lot after this service the problem was still there. I also was told that the LAST service (before this one) that my brake pads were down to where the required amount is for Subaru to change them was. I brought my car in this time because I could hear metal rubbing against metal. Had I been told that my brake pads were that low on the previous visit I would of had no problem with changing them. When I called to see when my car would be ready, there was no answer in the Service Dept., it to voice mail & the voice mail box was full. When I mentioned this to the service manager he again was very patronizing saying they were having trouble with their phones. They called a phone company to fix the problem but they haven't shown up yet. REALLY!!!! Four days to get your phone in working order-is that any way to run a business? More
