I went in for a free oil change. First, of course, I love that the first three oil changes are free and come with a free car wash! Second, I love that everyone at Seeger is friendly. Third, I love tha love that the first three oil changes are free and come with a free car wash! Second, I love that everyone at Seeger is friendly. Third, I love that the oil change appointment was kept on time - I arrived and they were expecting me; there were no delays (at first). My complaint and only suggestion for improvement is about the check-out part of my experience. When the mechanic brought in the keys and paper-work upon completion of the service, I recognized the keys and stood up to go to whomever he gave the keys to...there were three open desks with employees without customers and one employee with a customer. Instead of giving my keys to one of the three available workers, the mechanic gave them to the one worker who was busy. That employee - seeing me standing there - did not give the paperwork and keys on to a fellow co-worker nor address me. He just ignored them and gave his full attention to the people whom he was helping. I understand this and so sat back down to wait. After several minutes, it was clear that it was going to take a while and even though there had been several lulls in the conversation (many opportunities for him to politely pass the paperwork and keys on to someone who could quickly check me out) he continued to ignore them and me. I finally asked one of the other workers to go get my keys and paperwork...they said no problem and I was done - just like that. But, at that point I was late and a little frustrated...why didn't any of them go to get the paperwork and check me out on their own; why didn't the worker who had them not pass them on; why did the mechanic give them to the only worker unavailable to check me out? Overall, my experience was good. I little more consideration to getting someone who has been there for an hour waiting patiently would have made it amazing. More
I have had nearly all service on my vehicle completed at Seeger since I purchased the vehicle here in 2008. It is a reliable vehicle, so that service has been mostly limited to simple oil changes, which I Seeger since I purchased the vehicle here in 2008. It is a reliable vehicle, so that service has been mostly limited to simple oil changes, which I feel are reasonably priced at Seeger. The staff is generally friendly and accommodating. However, my "check engine" light recently came on, so I had the computer read at Autozone for free to help me narrow down the source of the problem, which was determined to be some component of the emissions system. Because there were a number of possible sources, and I am about to take a very long trip in this vehicle, I decided to bring the vehicle into the dealership to fix the problem. There I discovered that there was a minimum $79 fee just to look at the vehicle, which I only accepted because I don't have any other time available to take the vehicle elsewhere before I leave. Ultimately, it ended up costing around $120 for a new gas cap, which is absurd. I drive a Scion, not a Porsche. I will probably continue to have my oil changed at Seeger, but the next time my "check engine" light comes on or the vehicle requires other open-ended service, I will most likely not be bringing it to this service center. I can't imagine what it would have cost me if the vehicle had had a real mechanical problem. More
Tim was terrific. He said it might take up to one hour to replace a headlight. In less than 15 minutes the work was done, plus a car wash. I have been doing business with Seeger for over 20 years , and plan t replace a headlight. In less than 15 minutes the work was done, plus a car wash. We have used Seeger service for 20 years for all of our Toyotas. It is very nice that Glenn always recognizes me by name and tries to accomodate my needs. This last visit was a special case. My father Toyotas. It is very nice that Glenn always recognizes me by name and tries to accomodate my needs. This last visit was a special case. My father in law quit driving and wanted to give his car to my daughter. I asked how to evaluate it and Glenn suggested starting with a safety inspection. This turned up things that made us decide NOT to fix up the car. Glenn had Mike Kabbaz from used look at it and give us a bid for the car. It was a fair bid and my father in law sold the car. Glenn and Mike made it easy for us with no pressure. Most of our cars for the last 20 years have been Toyotas and I have used Seeger for all the service. The only problem I had was a few years ago when a tech missed the problem. The service manager took over and made it right with a comp loaner until everything was fixed. Other than that one mistake, Seeger has given me no reason to take my car elsewhere. More
