This Tuesday (Nov 27, 2012) was the third time, my car needs jump-start. In that rush-hour morning time, I was putting my 3-years old kid into the child car seat, and got onto driver's seat, turned the en needs jump-start. In that rush-hour morning time, I was putting my 3-years old kid into the child car seat, and got onto driver's seat, turned the engine key. It even did not crank, completely dead. So I had to ask my wife to send me to work and drop kid at school. Then I took afternoon off work, and asked my wife picked me up. I went home and jumped start my car, I drove about 20 minutes on highway from St. Charles to Seegar Toyota dealer. Asked for a battery check-up. The test result said the battery is good. Service rep told me that no need to change the battery. I talked with the rep whether the over 20 minutes high way drive after jump start recharged the battery, so the battery check result was not accurate. She told me next time it happens, just don't jump start, and instead towing to the dealer. I just wondering who is going to pay the towing fee then since my home is over 20 minutes away, and my car insurance only cover $50 fee last time. The battery I got from this dealer in Oct 2010. In December 2011, it was dead the first time, and cost me $50 to tow. And at that time, I had it checked at Seegar Toyota, the mechanic technician told me it was good too. Right now I am concerned whether the next morning I can start the car or not. More
The service was great, as always. The only concern that I had--and the only reason that I knocked customer service down from great to good--is that they told us that the car was ready, we came in to pick i I had--and the only reason that I knocked customer service down from great to good--is that they told us that the car was ready, we came in to pick it up, and then we had to wait ten minutes for the paperwork to get finished before we could pay. I know that's not a crisis or anything, but we expected it to be ready. I'm still coming back. More
