We recently bought a car and worked with Israel. He is, without a doubt, the best salesperson we have ever worked with! And I mean that literally. We did our research, found out that he had a multitude of without a doubt, the best salesperson we have ever worked with! And I mean that literally. We did our research, found out that he had a multitude of positive reviews over the past 4 years, and requested to work with him specifically. We found out the reason for all of the positive reviews! He has excellent interpersonal skills and went out of his way to be helpful to us. After we talked with him for a short while, we felt like we had already known him for a long time. He is trustworthy and got us a good deal, no games. We also worked with Antonio in finance who was very good. They were both kind and honest, not something you necessarily expect at a car dealership. We will be repeat customers for sure. Our experience in the service department was also excellent. Max was personable, professional, and friendly. He gave us valuable information about how to best care for the new car that we had just bought. We will definitely be bringing our car back for service. More

Horrible service. Drove 4 hours to meet with sales agent Nubia that promised to have the vehicle I was looking for. Talked to her all week about price and model. We arrive to her not even showing up, with a scheduled appointment. The new agent didn’t have all the information due to lack of communication. Nor did she have our preapproved paperwork that we did. Then, they sell me a car. The car I wanted that was promised to be delivered the next day. All the paperwork was signed with the VIN # to finally find out they couldn’t get me my palisades and kept putting me off for two more days. Finally after a promised delivery for a Monday date from our Friday visit to receive another call on Sunday to state the date for a Wednesday date and they were still looking. They kept promising and couldn’t produce. Instead of being honest they were horrible liars. Don’t waste your time! Spent 9 hours driving and 3 hours at the dealer for nothing. More

Worst Dealership Over the course of last week after several emails, texts, and phone calls I negotiated a deal with the Internet Manager Jeffrey “Cookies” Himes at Sel Over the course of last week after several emails, texts, and phone calls I negotiated a deal with the Internet Manager Jeffrey “Cookies” Himes at Selma Hyundai for a 2017 Sonata and came to what we decided was a satisfactory deal and setup an appointment for 9:00 am Wed 11/29/2017 for my in-laws to go in to complete the transaction with Til Johnson. We were under the impression the deal was done just go in check out the car, sign papers and go home with the new vehicle. When my in-laws arrived for the appointment Til Johnson acted as if he had no idea what they were talking about and found several other things to do in the process of helping them, then told them the car wasn’t there and was in a holding lot in Fresno so they left. At this time I attempted to contact Jeffrey Himes to no avail. Several hours later Til called and told them that the vehicle was found but was a different color than the one they wanted. I finally was able to contact Jeffrey and he had no idea what was going on and said he would find out and get back to me. Over an hour later he finally got back to me and couldn’t give my any answers and just kept saying he didn’t want to be a middle man and that Til had a deal with my in-laws which he did not. About an hour after that (3:00 pm) I received a phone call from Til saying they found the car and it would be there in an hour if my in-laws wanted to return. I told him they had an appointment at a different dealer on 11/30/2017 but I would let them know, then he proceeded to call my in-laws and they told him they were not interested. It amazes me how we went from what should have been a walk in sign papers and be done to no deal because of incompetence and lack of communication at this dealership. I would never recommend them to anyone and especially would not recommend their internet department! More

Unhappy buyer. For one, the dealership ran my credit before discussing price options after we were told they would not run my info until we came to an agreement on p For one, the dealership ran my credit before discussing price options after we were told they would not run my info until we came to an agreement on price. Second, I had told the manager and finance rep we wanted a 5 year loan, but they ended up giving me a 66 month loan just so my payments wouldn’t seem so high after adding in warranty and maintenance options. So we had to redo our contract for be “misunderstanding” as they called it. Third, its been 11 days since I’ve purchased my vehicle and as of yesterday there was a 5th auto credit inquiry ran on my credit report from this dealership. Not sure why they are still running my credit this long after I purchased my car, plus I’ve already been informed by the dealership as of last week who my loan is through. I will be following up with the dealership today regarding this matter and will dispute these inquiries on my credit. I did not have a good experience with Selma Hyundai. I will never go back to this dealership or will I refer anyone to them. More
