Extremely long wait (5 months) for vehicle to be allegedly repaired. I was told I would receive 4 months of payment reimbursement. I did not receive any reimbursement amount. I had very poor communication from the service department at Serra Chevrolet. I dropped my vehicle off on April 16th around 7am and was told by my service agent, Armand, that he would keep me posted. He called me at 7pm on April 17th stating the part they ordered did not arrive when anticipated, and I could come pick my vehicle up in the meantime. I picked my vehicle up April 18th, and was told the part was anticipated to arrive April 23rd. At that time, he told me I could bring it in whenever. Due to the mild lack of miscommunication, I wanted to ensure my part was there before I dropped it off (as I cannot be without my car for an unknown amount of time). I called on April 22nd and was told Armand was a lunch, but they would get my message to him. Two days had passed, had not heard a word. Due to timing of the week and my schedule, I recognized I wouldn’t be able to get it in. In addition to this, I recognize people are busy and wanted to give him time to call me back. But unfortunately, I did not hear a word. I called again April 29th, and AGAIN, was told he was at lunch and they would leave a message. No response. Called again on May 2nd, and was told I could wait on the line or leave a message to his phone. I chose to wait on the line. Waited approximately 7 minutes, and then the phone hung up. I called back that same day later on (May 2nd), and was transferred to Armand’s voicemail. I left a message, and again, no response. I called back on May 5th, and was again asked who my service agent was. At this point, I was fed up and explained that Armand was my service agent but I had left 3 messages with no return call. Whoever I was on the phone with told me he would pass my information along to the manager, who ended up calling me about 30 minutes later. He then told me my part had arrived and I could drop it off later in the week. FINALLY an answer. Unfortunately, I will NEVER be back as a customer and would rather go out of my way to a different dealership than to come back to Serra Chevrolet. Very poor communication. More
