After delivery customer care Bought a new 4Runner at Serra Birmingham in December, 2016. The purchase experience was barely above average but, as it turned out, the vehicle was de Bought a new 4Runner at Serra Birmingham in December, 2016. The purchase experience was barely above average but, as it turned out, the vehicle was delivered to us with the backup alarm deactivated. Soon afterward, my daughter backed into a stump that would , without question, activated the alarm. This resulted in about $3400 damage and the best that this dealership could offer was a possible discount on parts required. The attitude was that we could not prove that we did not disable after delivery. We were never shown the partially hidden button to disable and the first time we heard the distinctive beep on cranking the vehicle was after the accident. Love Toyota, have owned several, will but Toyota again but never from this dealership. If they won a customer service award it must have been a drawing! More
