Maikel is the best salesman I’ve ever worked with on a truck purchase....and I have had a lot of those. I quit buying at Sewell about 8 years ago because of overpricing in this market. I then started buyi truck purchase....and I have had a lot of those. I quit buying at Sewell about 8 years ago because of overpricing in this market. I then started buying in the north Dallas market. The sad thing about that is I believe in buying locally and always wanted to do so afterwards, but this market remained too high in pricing and sometimes to low in trade value. However, I became a friend with Maikel when he and I met at a local workout facility. We became pretty good buds and ended up talking about trucks a lot. However my office moved to Midland which caused me to leave that workout facility. However, before I left, Maikel asked me to give Sewell a chance to get my business back. I told him I would but never thought for one second they could beat my deals in Dallas. However a few months passed and it was time for me to buy a new truck. I cut my deal, but honored my word by giving Maikel a shot at it. Almost instantly I was shocked they beat the deal in place. The good thing was that Maikel was honest in his dealing with me which made it easy to finally come home to Sewell! Well done Maikel! P.S. I’d also like to thank my longtime salesman and friend at Sewell which is Johnny Brown! He and I spent most of last Saturday afternoon rekindling our old friendship which made me enjoy the overall experience even more. Kudos to both Maikel and JB for jobs well done!
