Poor communication; problem still not fixed I dropped my F-250 off at 7:30 AM on 12/26/18 for an oil change and also explained to Tim that the seat massage and lumbar buttons on the drivers side I dropped my F-250 off at 7:30 AM on 12/26/18 for an oil change and also explained to Tim that the seat massage and lumbar buttons on the drivers side seat had stopped working. I was informed that a technician would look into the problem and that Tim would call me later in the day with an update. At 4:30 PM, after not hearing from Tim all day, I called to get an update on my truck. Tim informed me that they had figured out that it was a problem with the module and that they had put in the order for the new part and it would be 1-2 days for the part to be delivered and then an hour or so for the technician to install it. He also told me that he would call me on 12/27/18 with an update. 12/27/18 came and went with no communication whatsoever. On 12/28/18, I waited until 4:30 PM to call Tim’s direct line and got his voicemail, which informed me that Tim was out of the office until Monday and that if assistance was needed to call the main dealership phone and ask for the service department. I hung up and called the main dealership phone number twice and no one answered, so I figured I would wait until tomorrow to call back. On 12/29/18, after still not hearing from anyone, I decided to call the main dealership phone number at 12:30 PM to try and get an update. After being passed around to multiple people who could not update me on my truck, I was transferred to Adrian who was able to tell me that my truck was actually completed the evening of 12/28/18 and for some reason the technician had not turned in the completed paperwork and keys so that’s why no one had called me to let me know the truck was finished. I then went to the dealership to pick up my truck around 4:30 PM and was assured the truck had been fixed. I got into my truck to drive away and tested the buttons, only to find the problem had not been fixed. I pulled back into the service department and informed them that the truck had not been fixed. Adrian and another service associate tried to look at the module underneath the seat and didn’t see anything noticeably out of place. They offered to keep my truck to try and fix the problem, but after leaving my truck there for 3 days with zero communication, I informed them that I wanted to take my truck and I wanted to speak to the service manager, but they were not present. I then left the dealership and went home. One positive note, Adrian did offer to cover the cost of the oil change. On 12/31/18, after returning from a trip to Lowe’s, I was unloading some items out of my back seat when I noticed that the zipper that opens the drivers side seat from the back had been undone. I looked for the zipper to try and zip it back up but the zipper had been broken off! So now the seat back can’t be closed because the zipper has been completely ripped off. As of 1/1/18, I am still waiting to hear from the service manager to discuss the issues I encountered. This rating would be 0 stars if it was allowed. More
