I am continuing my review to emphasize my satisfaction with these two individuals. I was so discouraged at the potential $3000 service bill within 30 days on two vehicles, I was ready to go elsewhere tho with these two individuals. I was so discouraged at the potential $3000 service bill within 30 days on two vehicles, I was ready to go elsewhere though I have purchased 8 vehicles from Sewell. But with collaboration these two individuals fixed the price problem and I will be back shortly to visit with Robbie regarding another vehicle. Robbie and Dallas brought me back... More
I had engine problems with a used car I bought. I took it back to Sewell and they took care of every thing. They even gave me a rental while repairs were made.So both the used car manager and the service man back to Sewell and they took care of every thing. They even gave me a rental while repairs were made.So both the used car manager and the service manager worked together to make it real easy for me to go on with my buisnes like nothing ever went happened. My family has purchased from Sewell Ford, new and pre-owned in the past. Sewell always helped in any way possible with any problem we had ever encountered. It was a right of passage for me at 19, t pre-owned in the past. Sewell always helped in any way possible with any problem we had ever encountered. It was a right of passage for me at 19, to purchase my first vehicle. My family and I chose to purchase pre-owned to help build credit and also knowing that Sewell was a well known and trusted West Texas dealership. The salesman I chose to purchase through was someone that I had done business with in the past, as I also was working in sales. Even though he worked in New trucks, he helped me go about purchasing Pre-Owned. It took about 3 days to get everything finalized through Sewell and the credit union, that all of our vehicles are financed through. We had known that the vehicle was over-priced, but the guarantee of the Certified Pre-Owned warrantee, really helped to seal the deal, as if i needed any service, and or maintenence, I would be taken care of. As a young single lady, this was a great selling point. Not had 2 months had passed and already I had encountered my first problem. Needless to say, I have probably been into the Service Center for issues maybe once every 2 months, since my purchase, for various issues. Tires, "Dummy lights", engine, air conditioner, compressor & clutch, brake issues. I have always been loyal to Sewell, and have done all of my basic upkeep through Sewell (oil changes..etc). My salesman has alway been there to help me with any concerns, and i am very thankful for that! As for the service center, that is another story. I have been passed around to approx 7 service guys, and have to completely retell my vehicle history EVERY time. I am always, always polite. But I have begun to think, because I am a young adult, I have been taken advantage of by the service department. Not to mention on my last visit to the service department, someone and or maybe something, put a very nice dent/scrape, that my salesman and I, noticed before I drove off the lot. Of course Sewell did "Take care" of it, BUT, I am left with the collision on the vehicle history, that may penalize, if I choose to ever resale, or trade my vehicle. My basic request, and has always been, is that I would just like to have my Vehicle FIXED, and in working order. As sad as all of this sounds, I am loyal to West Texas, and totally plan on purchasing through my salesman again, only this time, I will have more confidence on negotiating price, and also I will never purchase Pre-Owned through Sewell, only NEW, if they are willing to help a loyal, hard-working, responsible young lady. I would recomend this dealership because of Bobby Swartz and Christal Jordan. Since we have bought two vehicles from them, they have been extremely helpful with anything we have needed: service, finding ne and Christal Jordan. Since we have bought two vehicles from them, they have been extremely helpful with anything we have needed: service, finding new vechicles we are interestd in and much much more. We have never incountered any sales people that really took care of us "after the sale" until we bought from Bobby. More
I had brought in my 2008 F150 for a noise, coming from the rear of vehicle. I had brought the truck in once before. The problem was fixed that time (same sound). On my last visit the noise could not be the rear of vehicle. I had brought the truck in once before. The problem was fixed that time (same sound). On my last visit the noise could not be repeated in the shop. After 2 days, my truck was returned to me, not repaired. It has been making the sound since then, but is sporadic. The noise is made when I am in reverse. Thanks, Ron Bentley More
I just left the service department and was told I could make an appointment for 3 weeks away. If I leave it, it will be 8-10 working days. The service writer was not interested in seeing of hearing about make an appointment for 3 weeks away. If I leave it, it will be 8-10 working days. The service writer was not interested in seeing of hearing about the problem. This is a new 40K FORD truck. If I had known about the service here I would have looked at others. I asked about driving the truck until then and was told that was my option. When it blows up then they can put in a new engine where I'm sure its minor at this point. More
