NEVER AGAIN! Made appointment for a 8:20 am alignment. It should have only taken an hour at the most. When I checked in I was told it would be ready later that day. My truck should have been taken straight to the alignment lift. About an hour I checked on the status. I was told the mechanic needed parts . Thinking there was a bent or broken steering part, I asked what was broken. They didn't even start on the alignment. They were working on a recall and performing another service I did not ask for. I made them stop the recall repair because Ford requires a special claim process due to the recall item failing causes around $3000 damage to the tailgate and my RV. I have to sue Ford to replace the tailgate and pay for the RV repair. Regardless, Sewell Ford took it upon themselves to not inform me ahead of time of what they were going to do even though I was there for only the alignment. After waiting another hour, I checked on the status again and was informed the truck was not ready because the mechanic couldn't figure out how to align it. I was notified 30 minutes later the mechanic was test driving it and will be ready in about 15 minutes. 50 minutes later I still did not have my truck. Finally got my truck back. Cost me $195 and change for what should have been a $90 alignment like I paid for at another Ford dealership six months earlier. Sewell "comped" me a diesel fill up. I guess that is what the other $100 was for. I was mostly upset because the service department did work not specificaly authorized by me and kept making time commitments they did not keep. Secondly, their labor costs are excessive if in fact the alignment was really $195. When I called for the appointment I was told it would be around $100 with tax. More

Would rate 5 stars if it wasn’t for the service dept. Average wait time of 10 minutes just to get to the scheduling coordinator, then another 10 to get scheduled. Each time I’ve called it’s been 30 days or more to get in. I currently have 3 recalls, need an oil change, and my A/C quit on a truck I bought new from them a year ago. I understand not getting you in right away for a trivial recall procedure but It’s annoying that they tout the great service but can’t get your A/C fixed for 30 days. That’s a long time without A/C in Texas even in the fall. Anyway, if you are thinking about buying at Sewell for their service, I wouldn’t bother, you won’t get to experience it anyway. More

I might as well be driving a Rolls Royce because I was definitely treated like a queen. Thanks to the Sewell service department and Tim Rivas I now have a working fuel cap. More

We agreed on a realistic timeline to solve all the issues or they would rep After initial problems with a Shelby Raptor upper management got involved. We agreed on a realistic timeline to solve all the issues or they would replace the vehicle with a new one or reimburse the entire amount of my purchase. They provided a loaner vehicle and ultimately offered a totally new replacement if I wasn’t happy. The end result was they successfully repaired a complicated issue on the original unit and tippy toed between 3 manufacturers ( Ford , Shelby, and Tuscany). More
