Dear A8 owner. There are a few important details left out of your review that may help shed some light for others. We will start with on 4/5 you called and spoke with a salesperson about a preowned Audi A8, you saw on line. You did not come into the store nor did you physically look at the car, only photos. You agreed on a price and gave a $500 deposit. a few days later you sent photos of your trade and wanted a value difference trading your car on ours. Not the initial deal you setup, but ok. We gave you a value difference and you wanted an additional $2500 to be able to meet your requirements. Our selling price was agreed upon without a trade, then there was a trade. You just wanted more for a 90,000 A8 then we were willing to offer. The point about paying PA sales tax is incorrect, if you finance an automobile purchase we must collect the sales tax for your bank and forward that sales tax to your state and have the registration completed as well. If you bring a cashiers check you would get a temporary plate and you would pay sales tax in Mass when you get home. We still did not have a deal with the trade involved and now 6 days later a different customer comes in to look at the car I own, that you wanted to purchase. We agreed on a price, he went to town picked up a check from his bank and took delivery of the A8, within 2 hours. Sir it was my $60,000 that you where holding hostage, not yours. So the Difference between Sewickley Audi and United is that the United customers paid for their ticket, you just asked us to hold yours. Sincerely K.C. Kowalyk Sewickley Audi
