He wasn't aggressive or pushy when talking and dealing is us as some sales people can be. He didn't try to put us in a car that was beyond our needs or finances. He took the time to get to know us and put us at ease about the car. He was so friendly and accommodating to us. The day we were coming in to pick up the car we couldn't make it there until an hour after his shift had finished but he never mentioned it. He just smiled and said he would see us then. I only know he waited an hour for us because he gave us his card on our first visit and his hours were listed. He waiting while we were in the finance office and even took the time to help me set up the radio and Bluetooth when again he could have easily just run for the door while we were signing all the paperwork. I look forward to dealing with Shaker for my maintenance and would recommend this dealership and especially Jim when you are looking for your next car. More

Within an hour from then, I drove off in my BRAND NEW Titanium Escape. This was the BEST car experience I've ever had. At 58 years old, I've been around cars and dealerships a while. An experience with Pros and Cons I dealt mainly with Jim, Manny and another Sales/Finance guy whose name escapes me, over two days. Jim = polite, but not necessarily warm. Manny (Fina I dealt mainly with Jim, Manny and another Sales/Finance guy whose name escapes me, over two days. Jim = polite, but not necessarily warm. Manny (Finacne) = very knowledgeable, polite and friendly. The upper Sales Manager guy who I dealt with on day one (who Jim brought out to negotiate price and whose name I can't remember) = less so. He was, in fact, a little condescending and acted like he and Family Ford were doing ME a favor by taking a whopping *sarcasm alert* $500 off the price of a $14K car!!! This soured the experience for me and in the end because it was the car I wanted and because I felt it was a decent (but certainly not great) deal, I went with Family Ford. Had another dealer had a similar car for a similar price I'm not sure I would've gone back to Family Ford on Day 2, purely because of the experience I had with the upper Sales Manager guy. More
